Discovered my old shocks were leaking, during a routine filter cleaning. W cannot complain, the washer is close to twenty years old. Copied the old part numbers and they cross referenced to these. Ordered them and they fit exactly like the originals. Was a small learning curve to remove the old ones. It's tight under there and the tabs are hidden from view. I used a small flat bladed screwdriver and a hooked pick to hold the locking tabs down, then twisted the old shocks out. Ended up breaking most of them due to tight quarters and no way to see what I was doing. New ones easily slipped in and locked into place. I did right then left, and did not install the front shock until the back one was done. (It will allow more room to work.) Patience is the key tool needed for this repair.

The washer started shaking badly on small loads and would walk across the floor. Ordered these to replace the 10 yr old ones. It only had 3 installed but I found a slot for a forth one. I installed the fourth that came in this pack in an extra slot on the bottom I found. I thank this seller for sending the 4 because I attribute that to how quiet it is now. It's operates more smoothly than it did when it was new.

The shocks made a big difference in the operation of my washer. Beware removing the old shocks that have been in place for 8+ years was a major task. The new ones slipped in with a simple twist.

My washing machine is working like new again. No longer shaking badly. Install was not hard after watching videos available on line.

Just replaced our washer struts. These aftermarket were equal to the originals but a fraction of the cost with a 2 year warranty to boot. Washer is now much quieter with new struts; a few of the originals were definitely worn. Note that you should replace the belt while the access panels are removed as it’s easy and they stretch out over time leading to extra play in suspension system. Our old belt was at about 2” longer than the new.Struts are Tedious but not hard to install given the clips and tight working spaces. Watch the videos and take your time.

Very economic, used these to change shocks on whirlpool front load washer!! Almost identical to the ones I removed.

Replaced 10 year old shocks in whirlpool duet, machine kept trying to rebalance, would not switch to high speed spin. New shocks fixed problem
