Picky and Heavy Apple Pencil User Highly Approves! (HD Ballistic Glass)
OverallInstallation was not super easy but it can be done with great care and precision. As for the quality and usage, awesome on both accounts. I'm a very heavy Apple Pencil user who uses it for note taking during therapy sessions, journaling and drawing. I probably use the pencil for 3-4 hours every day. Therefore, I was a bit concerned about the potential interference that a screen protector might have on its usage. However, there's no issue!Pencil SensitivityI have not experienced any change in sensitivity. I use PenUltimate, EveryNote, OneNote and various Adobe apps with the pencil...and there's no issue. I'm so relieved and am very happy with the protector.Screen Protector Feel and Finger Print ResistanceSome want to have a rougher feel to the screen and have gone for the anti-glare version. For me, I've become accustomed to the smooth surface and it works well for me. Plus, I don't want a rougher surface to wear down the tip of the pencil. With this screen protector the pencil feels just like it did on the bare screen, if not a bit smoother. But this might be because it's new and there isn't any residual oil from my fingers. Regardless, it works great for writing, drawing, tapping to select things, etc.InstallationAs with any screen protector, it's a pain in the butt that needs great care and attention to detail. This screen protector is so precisely made that it doesn't allow for much error when you place it. They provide a cleaning cloth, a small microfiber cloth and two small suction cups, all of which were helpful. However, if you really want to minimize the risk of dust sneaking in I'd recommend the following steps:1) Close all windows in the room that you're using for installation2) Turn off your furnace so it won't kick on, wait ten minutes so the air becomes still and dust settles3) Wash your hands thoroughly4) Use a larger microfiber cloth (you can get them at auto stores) to do an initial cleaning and wiping with a little bit of rubbing alcohol. Make sure the surface is perfect.5) Place suction cups toward the ends of the protector6) Wipe away any dust from the film, if there is any7) Constantly check iPad surface for dust as you are about to peel the film away8) With the protector facing down, peel part of the film away and carefully line the bottom up, remember that there's very little margin for error in the alignment.9) Slowly peel the rest of the film away and allow the protector to naturally fall onto the screen and it'll start to adhere to it.10) Remove suction cups and gently rub any air bubbles toward the outside11) You can place a suction cup toward a corner and lift it up a little bit (after you get the corner started with your fingernail) if you need to get a stuck bubble out. Just be careful.I had to lift up the protector and place it on the iPad again because it was slightly off. I didn't have any issue with this but I did need to do it very careful so that I didn't introduce any dust. The end product was good and only one tiny piece of dust snuck in...but it didn't cause a noticeable bubble.Hope this helps everyone and good luck!

Awesome product after the 2nd try!
Wow...After 4 trys with 3 different manufacturer's ballistic glass protectors for my new iPad pro I finally got the last one to work...and it was this one. The Bovon product was a disaster right out of the box and I do not recommend as well as the iPowerDirect. Both were very weak, with no real instructions and both gave very poor results; bubbles that wouldn't clear... and were impossible to reset/reposition without ruining the adhesive...rendering the new screen protectors worthless. Both were returned for (2) new Tech Armor Ballistic HD protectors. This is not an install for the faint of heart in my personal and professional opinion. I use Tech Armor's ballistic glass on my iPhone 6 plus and another iPhone 6 for my son with great success...why I didn't just go with these guys in the 1st place I don't know, but I'll never go back. Great product and great end results. I ordered two of these knowing what a tricky install it would be and I'm glad I did. The 1st install of the Tech Armor went well...I used 2 suction cups as recommended but somehow during the positioning 2 small particles of dust managed to get under the protector in the center of the screen and were impossible to remove, so the 1st protector was trashed.Let me just say that this process creates quite a bit of static, so I don't recommend a lengthy positioning phase of the install, try to get everything lined up and laid in as quickly and efficiently as possible. On the second install of the 2nd Tech Armor protector I used only 1 suction cup and it positioned perfectly. I recommend patience working the bubbles out. There were still two small smudges of trapped air under my 2nd install and I was able to carefully lift up the corner of the screen protector past the air pockets and re-lay for a perfect finish! Whew...I'm a technical guy, a fine artist and metalworker/machinist for over 30 years and this was a pretty intense install...but I was looking for perfection and it took 4 trys to get it. Hopefully your install will be much easier but just a note to try to set yourself up as best you can before attempting one of these...it's nothing like doing a phone. It makes sense to order 2 of these based on my experience. You'll have a backup if one ever gets cracked, and you'll have a backup if your install doesn't go perfectly. While I was waiting for my Tech Armor screen protectors to arrive after the fiasco of the 1st go 'round I tested out the iPad pro with the new pencil just to get a feel for responsiveness and have something to compare to once the new Tech Armor Ballistic glass was installed. I can not feel any difference at all regarding responsiveness using the Paper drawing app by 53. Hopefully I can get an exchange for the 1st Tech Armor protector that didn't work as expected, but regardless I'm giving this product 5 stars because of the flawless final install and great responsiveness. The glass looks beautiful on the new Pro, and I feel ok about handing this device over to the kids to do artwork etc.

A great screen protector.
Given the crazy high price of the iPad Pro, I wasn't about to leave mine without a screen protector, even if the pad is second hand and a bit cosmetically challenged .......... especially as I'm hoping to get a second hand apple pencil to draw on it with.My personal opinion is that TechArmour screen protectors are about as good as screen protectors get, so thats the one I went for.Arrived well packaged and on time. Inside the delivery box, the TechArmour product box itself is well made, all the bits that are supposed to be in it are in it and all of them - from the instructions, to the cloth to the glass itself) are excellent quality and safely packed. The screen protector is the right size and the cutouts are all in the correct place. You may be surprised how many screen protectors can't even get this right.Fitting it was not easy simply because the tablet screen is so large. If you try to hold the long edges as you would usually do, the protector bows down in the centre under its own weight. If you try to hold the short edges its obviously worse. If you try using the suction pads your hands obscure your view and make it hard to see where you're placing it. So it ended up with some dust flecks underneath, which is a bit cosmetically annoying bit nothing more. So its reasonable to fit (well, as easy as fitting an extra large tablet screen protector can be) and, once fitted, clarity and touch responsiveness are both great.

The best I've used, but...
3 stars, but dont get me wrong, this is why.. Firstly, this is by far the best screen protector I've ever used. Downside: despite following the instructions to the letter, establishing a clean environment free of dust particles, careful prep and application, once dropped into place, it has a mind of its own and starts self adhering to the surface. no bad thing until it bubbles. you cannot get these out once that thing has stuck, they become tightly integrated below this semi rigid structure. the biggest bubble i had to at least attempt to get out, so gently with a credit card lifted the corner to ease it out, the corner is now lifted with the material bent and will not adhere correctly so looks a mess. That said, i'm getting another to try again, shame even tiny adjustments or fixes cant be made. Now I've purchased and applied the second, I'm upping to 4 stars! The old one came off without a hitch and the new one applied nicely. One little bubble which I'm hoping will go after 24 hours. I am a perfectionist so for most I'm sure will love it and 5 star all the way!

Protecting the screen seemed like something I needed to do
I was sceptical about this product as I am with all screen protectors. I recently bought an ipad pro and apple pencil and noticed that often I was pressing quite hard on the ipad screen with the pencil. Protecting the screen seemed like something I needed to do, considering the price of the ipad pro. After much research I decided to pay the extra for the tech armor product. I'm glad I did. Overall easy to apply with clear instructions. I had a few bubbles but I got rid of them easily and now I have no bubbles :). The screen is as clear as it was before. The Apple Pencil continues to work perfectly, actually I prefer using the ipad pro with this screen protector, as overall the apple pencil glides over the screen easily at whatever pressure I apply. I don't see any weird rainbow effects when I press very hard anymore, so I'm confident this is protecting my screen and making drawing easier.Palm rejection continues to work perfectly, as does all touch and gesture functionality. If anyone is planning on using an ipad pro for illustration or creative work I can highly recommend this product.

Brilliant results from a trusted brand
I am writing this on my iPad Pro for which I bought this screen protector. First off I have to say that this is easily the best screen protector I have ever put on a device...not just because of what it is made of, but because of the easiness it was to put on; I have NO BUBBLES or unstuck patches whatsoever on my screen, and it is crystal clear. This is because of the way you put this protector on, using the mini suction pads to hold the screen protector in place as you position it with them. It was a doddle and as I already said is the best result I have ever had with a screen protector. Being by Tech Armor you can be certain that your screen will be protected from scratches, scuffs, marks, and all other many of screen-damaging nastiness; it is made from toughened ballistic glass. I really like it...and if you've got a screen worth protecting then go for this screen protector / brand.

This is an excellent product, as usual with Tech Armor
This is an excellent product, as usual with Tech Armor.I used the steam cleaner in my bathroom to create a steamy, damp environment for the installation and this is a tip that really works, to remove dust in the atmosphere.Installation wasn't hard, although I don't recommend using the blue suction cup to hold the glass sheet - it caused a mark under the screen when it was fully laid down. Luckily, just taking it off and reapplying got rid of the mark completely. It isn't easy to position such a large screen perfectly but the final result was only slightly maligned and, rather than risk any unwelcome dust, I left it at that. One more tip. Just allowing the screen to descend on its own seems to be the best installation method. Bubbles won't form if the room is steamy.Highly recommended. Frankly, I wouldn't look elsewhere for ballistic glass protection?
