I am really disappointed. I bought based on people's reviews. It did do plug n play. Just worked the minute I opened Zoom on my MacBook Air BUT...the pictures quality was just grainy and colors are off. Much worse than my built in webcam in the Mac. I need two external cameras for teaching up close art work live. If you just need your face to be there this camera works. If you want true color, fast focus and detail, this will not get it. The room 20 feet behind me almost seemed to be in better focus than my face. I will be reuturning the camera. The picture grid I have loaded is showing my 3 cams. Top photo is the Logitech C930e cam, the bottom right is my built in MacBook Air cam, and the one on the left is from this camera.

This camera advertised manual focus... that means that you adjust how close you are sitting to the camera for it to see you clearly. And even then you have to sit perfectly still. Does not come with any instruction or drivers. Will not work in a 3.0 USB port. I had to use an old 2.0 USB hub to get it to work. The built in mic over rides my professional boom mic and I have not been able to figure out how to over ride the web cam mic. It is ok quality but you have to speak directly at it and that means my image gets fuzzy. May be ok for some kids doing school through zoom. I gave it to the dog to chew on...

Poseo y uso desde hace años una logitech C525 calidad 720HD ángulo visivo de 60° a 78° debido a las clases virtuales en casa nos estamos turnando esta cámara entre 3, y a veces hasta alguien se queda sin turno y le tocaba conectarse con la webcam del portatil que todos sabemos la decadente calidad.Así es que mi intención de compra de esta segunda webcam es más por una necesidad y no andar conecta y desconecta por toda la casa con esta logitech.Esta segunda cámara a primera impresión me cautivo su peso, dimensiones abundantes que te dan esa sensación de robustez, el audio y video van en uno flujo de transmisión vía USB, no la acompaña ningún software dedicado, sus drivers se auto-instalan inmediatamente. El ángulo visivo es super amplio, lo cual hubiese sido útil un pequeño software que te permita hacer un poco de zoom digital...!! Personalmente ya no me gustaba pues demasiado amplio su ángulo visual, que incluso te distorsiona tal como lo hacían los lentes ojo de pez de las fotocamaras, o las antiguas GoPro. Aquel ángulo súper amplio estaría bien para una mesa de trabajo y todos sus integrantes, más no para una videoconferencia individual. Pero lo peor de todo es la calidad de imagen, super maquillada la textura de la piel, pues pareces un muñeco de cera, aquellos de los museos... osea una imagen súper artificial y peor aún son sus colores, dependiendo de como te mueves, divagan por todas las tonalidades, desde el azulado, rojizo, verdoso .Al menos se quedara quieta en una sola tonalidad al menos. Pero claro por 20usd que mas puedes pretender. Pues yo lo unico que pretendia eran al menos unos colores neutrales. y que no salten de una tonalidad a otra. Obviamente ni para qué compararla con la suprema calidad de la modesta y antigua Logitech C525. Bien dice el dicho "Lo barato sale caro". Tengo ya en el carrito de compras otra logitech C525.

I bought this a little over a year ago after we realized quarantine was going to be around for a long time. This camera was great! The quality is awesome and I received a lot of compliments. I especially appreciated how there are indicator lights to show if the power is on and/or if the camera is on. Great feature. However, a few days ago it just stopped working. There had been no indications that it was failing. I was on a call in the morning and by the afternoon meeting, it was dead. I tried restarting, switching computers, switching inputs, everything. I didn't buy the most expensive camera, but it also definitely wasn't the cheapest. It really should have lasted longer than a year. Despite the great features, if it doesn't last, it's not worth it. RIP little camera. You were a good companion the last year.

With covid19, I Needed a webcam for work from home meetings. All the name brand webcams were sold out or wanted exorbitant prices so I went with this one instead, I was pleasantly surprised with the video quality frame rate and the hd resolution clarity. Works with jit.si and zoom. My colleagues were able to see and hear me just fine.

To be completely honest, when I first got this camera I was excited for some Dungeons and Dragons games coming up. No one knew I was getting a webcam, and when it finally arrived I was totally pumped. Decent pricing advertised, decent pricing respected. Disaster strikes as it always does with fishy Amazon pricing and advertisement however, as I realized my 3rd time booting up the face camera that it had kicked the bucket.I am not one to be defeated by software problems, so I came back to this very page for some additional insight for how to fix my newly procured camera. I spent 2 weeks looking through any kind of markings, external numbering, and at this point I had all but the original packaging. I truly believe in the right to repair of a buyer, but when I say there is next to nothing on this camera, truly believe that in the depths of hades, behind bars made of wrought iron lay the information for how to get this camera working again. A thought comes to me, maybe buy a better camera for less cash? Back to the drawing board you foreign pirates!

It worked right out of the box. I never noticed any drivers load, there was not USB device identification, nothing. I just plugged it in and that was that. Initially I thought it was broken since the computer never acknowledged that I had attached it. But, when I opened my camera app, there I was! I was in a Zoom meeting about 30 minutes later and no issues. The picture is great and the microphone seems to also work very well. I'm very pleased with this purchase!

Microphone sound tinny and almost inaudible. Focus on camera off -- showed back of room in focus but faces near camera were blurred; difficult as one had to be right in front of it talking very loudly to be heard at all! As far as I can tell neither focus nor sound volume can be adjusted on this plug-and-play product.. Very disappointing.
