Dyson Nozzle Assembly, Floor Dc39

I'm not sure if this is actually an authentic Dyson product but if it's not, it seems to be built at the same specifications and quality as the original. Only time will tell but it works just like the original one did when it was new. It's also half to a third the price that some places are selling them for.I might even have to order another one to keep as a spare. Although, I do somewhat expect the vacuum to fail before this replacement head does. I think this might be one of the best vacuums that Dyson has made so far! This is the first part I've had to replace in well over 10 years.. besides replacing the roller, once after many years of use.

The media could not be loaded. We bought our Dyson DC39 from Amazon 7 years ago. Got a great deal ! About 2 years after we got it the brush bar in the trigger head would not stop spinning when the trigger on the wand handle was pressed. I contacted Dyson Support and they diagnosed a faulty wand handle which sounded quite possible. They sent a replacement wand handle to us but to the wrong address after we had given them our new address. In the end they sent us a brand new DC39 and we returned ours to Dyson. Our new DC39 functioned very well for the next 5 years until recently when the brush bar in the trigger head again would not stop spinning when the trigger on the wand handle was pressed to vacuum a hard floor surface. I figured it must be the wand handle again but could not get to talk to a real person at Dyson Support because of the covid shutdown. I decided to investigate further and viewed a YouTube video of a guy dismantling the trigger head of a Dyson DC39. It showed a round clear plastic cylinder part which had broken in half. As the guy explained this part was critical in redirecting the air away from the brush bar to make it stop spinning. Amazing ! I used a T10 Star Driver to pull apart our trigger head and sure enough the exact same part was broken in two. I've read where it is said that this particular part was not built strong enough to perform it's task for a lengthy period. Anyway I looked online and Amazon were cheaper by far to buy a new trigger head. I attached it as soon as it arrived and it works perfectly. For how long I have no idea !

This is a direct replacement. Absolutely perfect! Works better than the vacuum head that came with my canister. Highly recommend.

I have a Dyson D39 and it works absolutely great since almost 10 years now. Until 2 weeks ago when out of a sudden the brush wouldn’t switch in between modes anymore. I had to order a new one, since we have carpets in bedrooms and have a huge rug in the living room. Without the brush spinning anymore the suction and cleanliness wasn’t the same on carpet. This one works great, except it’s way louder than the old one. It seems to be the exact same I had before.

Correct part. Working as it should be. I am satisfied with this purchase.

My DC39 Dyson vacuum stopped working. My floor piece that spins to pick up carpet debris stopped spinning. There is a red rubber gasket inside the floor piece that moves to release regulate vacuum pressure so the roller can spin freely to vacuum your rug. It was easier to replace the entire piece instead of taking the assembly apart with Utube video instruction. The vacuum works like new with this OEM part, an exact replacement piece. It arrived a day early to my pleasant surprise and was easy to replace. I have had Dyson products for 20 years & worth every penny, now that I finally learned to follow THEIR recommended instructions to wash clean pieces as instructed and use their support site to remind me of features I didn't understand from just looking at the manual pictures. The support site has helpful tips which convinced me from other people's similar issues to be confidant to order this new nozzle to fix my problem. This has exceeded my expectations once I utilized all of Dyson website offerings.
