I go through quite a few of these lead acid sealed batteries in our various burgler/fire alarms at our businesses and at home. We have to replace them fairly regularly, so I need to keep a supply on hand. I have not had to install any of these battery yet, but I do own quite a few Interstate Battery brand batteries in our vehicles, deep cycle type in our dump trailers and trolling boat and have never had any issues or problems with the Interstate Battery brand.As I said, I havent had the need to install any as of yet. It's nice to have 8 of them on hand and on standby. I do not know what the shelflife of these unused batteries are. I will update this review once I install one and will report back on shelflife and durability / longevity, but dont think it will be any problems with these.

My alarm company called and said they got a low-battery alarm. I got this one as a replacement. It got here quickly and fit perfectly. It's a five-minute job. I tested the old battery, and there is nothing wrong with it. They hoped I would ask one of their technicians to come by and do the job for more than a hundred dollars. DIY and save a bundle.
