Did not work properly
Tip did not heat enough to melt solder properly for some reason. Stock tip that came with my TS100 works just fine.

Are you itchin’ to melt some lead?
Then if you have a Pinecil or similar soldering iron this tip is great, the tip shape makes it easier to solder and it recognized in my iron easily.

Works as advertized
Using a TS-BC2, this is the one you want for all purpose soldering on a TS100.Not having any wild temperature fluctuations as some of the older reviews indicated, readings vary within a few degrees but are mostly accurate and haven't mislead me with these tips.Tip came pre-tined with solder, not sure if used or if this is the result of QC, but it worked fine regardless.

Not original and not a good replacement
The media could not be loaded. Based on packaging I don't think it's an original TS-100 replacement iron tip. When installed into a TS-100 the temperature fluctuates +- 15 degrees non-stop. This is absolutely not how it's supposed to behave: temperature must stay dead on point but it's not. The problem with such behavior is that the solder continuously works trying to keep temperature on set point and its CPU works continuously which is not and intended work mode. The CPU gets overheated and it can easily damage the solder. I tried multiple times based on what other reviews said but it did not help. I suspect that the temperature sensor in the tip simply does not work correctly. Not recommended.
