Holding up well as I’ve used this model for two years. The model before this one and previous models were very easy to program. That why our bunch of hunters have gone to all Moultrie. We have 34 feeders we use from late August through the middle of January, and 3 where we feed year round. The model before this one was terrible as far as durability because they get water in them. We have four of the old old model that we’ve had for around 8 years, all we ever have to do to them is spray a little Corrosion-X on the spinner shaft. Only three of us out of the ten in our group have been able to program them. Can’t go fast trying to program or to slow or you will have to start over again. Don’t understand why you would want to feed just certain days of the week or 10 times a day. The hardest part is getting them to test.

No surprise. Moultrie makes quality stuff. Farmers cows got out and broke the head off my feeder. Being that feeder is 10+ years old I wasn't sure if it would work without doing some "modifications" because most every company charges things. They did make some improvements to the motor but it slipped right into place literally less than 2 minutes. I'll be buying another for another feeder I have of another brand but Moultrie includes the parts you need to make it work on any feeder. Love when a company trys to make things easy for their customers

This 6 volt feeder motor is much better than the original AA battery version. It is much sturdier and has a critter guard that protects against racoon damage. Although setting it is a bit more complicated, it does work well. Just know you must use alkaline batteries (not cheap zinc-carbon batteries) because the cheaper zinc-carbon batteries sold at most stores around town do not have the power to run the motor. The better and more expensive alkaline batteries are not sold in all stores. Because I did not realize batteries were the problem, I actually replaced a good feeder motor thinking it had gone bad. Now I know to only use alkaline batteries. One battery gets me thru the whole deer season.

This thing is great, my old feed spreader motor quit working awhile back so the deer and squirrels would just hangout for long periods of time and basically gravity feed. I was going through a 40 Lb bag of corn every two or three days. I have it set to dispense food every morning and evening. The deer come in about five minutes later. This saves me a lot of money and keeps the deer around. Recommend putting wire cage around the motor to keep the squirrels out.

Fixed my problem and works as it should

put this out, on a new feeder, about 3 months ago, it worked good for about 2 months. Its is not easy to set up, basically a pain, way too many steps to go through. It started working part time, only throwing corn ever so often, acted like the battery was bad, changed the battery several times, then it would not work at all, tear it apart and reset it, checking to make sure it was working, would use the test button, and it would throw a lot of corn. When hunting the feeder would never go off, tear it apart again, everything was set like it was suppose to be. Then i went and started reading review, and it seems a lot of other people were having, the same problem. So i ordered a different brand, and installed it, and its working great, so as for this brand, it went in the trash can, what a waste of money, do not buy it or you will have the same problem.
