Love these-bought enough sets for all the personal devices in my house.
I looked at a bunch of different magnetic cords before settling on this one. There seem to be two major categories—round head and oval head. I liked the round head because they are more forgiving when connecting the magnets—they clip into perfect position every time no matter how lazy you are. The oval ones sometimes click together crooked and don’t seat properly. So I went with round heads.I tried two different brands of round headed cords and they seem interchangeable—each cord worked with the others inserts.I finally picked this particular set of cords for the following reasons:1) Each of the three cords comes with a lightning, micro-usb, and usb-c tip (total of 9 tips). That means almost all my electronics can use the same cords—my apple and Samsung and whatever devices all use the same power cords now. I LOVE that.2) These cords are shorter than some other multi packs. Most of the packs you get two short cords (1’ and 3’), two long cords (6’) and two really long cords (10’). I just don’t need the giant cords, so this mix of cords works better for me. I wish I could find one that was all 1’ or 3’ cords, but I couldn’t.3) the cords have tiny LED lights that show when it’s plugged in, but not enough to light up my whole room when I’m trying to sleep.4) the variable angle cord ends are really nice and make the cords less likely to pop out accidentally, as well as fitting in smaller spaces. Some things I’ve learned that may help:1) the lightning (Apple) tips are NOT reversible, even though they look like they are. If you put it in and your device won’t charge, take it out, flip it over, and plug it back in. It should work.2) the magnets are quite strong. Sometimes when pulling the cord off of a device it will pull the tip out with it. I have gotten in the habit of pulling the cords off in a sideways direction to avoid this.3) the magnetic connection seems to reduce either the wattage or amperage of the cord slightly. Not sure which, but devices do charge slightly slower with this cord versus a regular cord.

Convenient and Easy to Use
Couple of great things:1) Comes with 3 wires of differing lengths. I really like the 6.6ft wire, makes life so much easier when I don't have to bend over so my phone can still charge.2) The magnet clicks perfectly and charges just as fast as my regular cable. If I get my phone close enough, it clicks and I don't have to fiddle around to plug my phone in. Gets the job done!3) It comes with a small attachment so you can store 3 magnet heads with the wire. Might not be useful at home, but it's amazing for keeping in the car so anyone can use the cable without trying to find these small things4) They also give you a plastic box to store any extra magnetic heads. Its the small things that make something great and this is one of those.5) I was worried that the head would stick out of my phone weirdly, but with my case on, I barely notice it. Note: if you do have a rigid case, the magnetic head might not fit. If you do not have a case on, it is more noticeable, but it has not gotten in my way, so its all right.Things that could be improved:- The blue light is great to find the cable and in my car, but when I am trying to go to sleep at home, its so bright. Taped it over- There is no manual or anything that tells you how to use the little attachment. I figured it out pretty quickly, but initially thought it was was wrap the cable around, and then tried to stick the magnetic heads in the wrong side. Got it eventually, but a quick graphic on the box or on a paper inside would have been nice.

A magnetic connection isn't/may not be the same as a wired connection)- is this fixed?
The 'adapter head' goes into your cell phone and stays there. You hook up to the charger cord via a magnetic connection; the magnetic attract to each other happens almost automatically; making the connection fast and easy.PROBLEMS: The magnet connection was a little too strong and ripped the (phone)magnet out and left the plug-in head in the phone, thereby breaking the charging head. Multiple charging heads are included for both Apple and smartphones : The magnet attracts to ANY METAL: I thought Good: I just leave the connector head sitting attached to the phone and it'll be ready to charge. Not So Good, the connector in a car with just the magnetic connection won't allow the bluetooth to work, thereby negating/ making the 'speakerphone' in the car INCOMPATIBLE / WON'T WORK.Scenario, I would unplug at home when charged, things are great....then I go out in my car, and [damn] what do I do with that charging head in my phone jack [it has to be pried out], and it's SO SMALL, What DO I DO with the Charging Head when not in use. The first time, the problem solved itself by the phone charging head DISAPPEARING TO NOWHERE....Problematic when I got home, I couldnt charge! [Ack! Where are the rest of those extra charging heads? {gave away the smartphone heads to a friend} What did I do with them??!? ARGGH! The charging with the new magnetic head when smoothly for a couple of days...THEN, I went out again...(Pried out the head, when I got in my car, and started doing errands. Needed to make a phone call, ended up talking for a while AND...(Damn charging do-hickey is there) put it aside in the drink holder,..I'm thinking it'll be there the Next Time..It went away to somewhere. ..And so on...The thingy in my phone-jack got caught on my earring...ACK!! Caught on my keyring.... I gave it up after the breakage thing...
