Really sits nice in engine bay,works well opened up ,but definitely needs a tune to work great....That Coyote is scheduled for a custom tune......other wise without it in sport mode it trows a misfire code ,I have a 2016 gt that did the same thing.....after the tune with JDM it ran amazing!!!!!K&N quality is top notch!!!

No sound while normal driving, but when you are revving that engine .... OMG .... It sounds incredible 10/5. Also, very easy installation, did it with my buddies in about 30-45 minutes

Definitely looks better under the hood than the stock system, but the stock system has those unattractive baffles to keep the noise down. The first time I got on the gas hard I thought there was a problem or I had forgotten to tighten up a clamp. Nope it was just that glorious Coyote V8 sucking huge amounts of air with less resistance. I feel I gained low end power. The noise can be a bit annoying even with the stock exhaust so be aware of that, If you plan on upgrading your exhaust like I do then it shouldn't be an issue. A plus is a gain in mpg. Just my 8 miles each way commute to work I have seen a gain of 1-2 mpg, When your driving a truck every mpg helps!

Easy install

The install was easy - after watching a video online. My instructions were for a Ford Escape - I have a Ford F-150 5.0L. It surprised me but gave me a good laugh. I can feel and hear the increase of horsepower - not sure about the milage as I haven't been watching that closely.

Quality cold air intake system! Everything was well thought out and all parts supplied. After installing on the 5L V8 Ford Coyote it's noticeably more snappy and definitely has a deeper, throaty sound...very noticeable over factory intake.

Purchased the 71-2591 kit for my F150, 2nd time I’ve exchanged and kit comes with a tube that does not fit truck and is different then listed in product instructions!!! Waiting on K&N customer service but have heard nothing yet

SO this is my 3rd KN cold air I've owned. By far it was the easiest one to install. I had the stopwatch going and was complete in 12 minutes 23 secs. BUT.... I forgot the little strip you glue on the bottom of the filter box. So in less than 30 mins I was up and running. There is a slight whistle now, but when you add a filter the size of your head and a giant chrome tube. Air is going to flow.... So I'm going to use silicon on the bottom of the box to really seal it off. Otherwise its a great product. Next I'll throw on exhaust and a tune.
