This is a great little unit for cooling a room down. The remote is nice and handy for us lazy people. I had a small issue with mine and I had to contact the seller. They responded quickly, they were very helpful and resolved my issue quickly.

Cons- I do have to turn the volume up on the television.PROS-It did not cost an arm and a leg- It does help cool and the humidity is now so that I do not get static shocks all of the time.- Easy to fill, good design.- There are wheels on it that can lock. It can easily be moved around (I recomend the water level half full or less)and there are wheel locks to keep it from moving.- If you fill the tank and set the timer to max (that is about eight hours) the tank will still have water in it. You willnot have to worry about the pump burning up if you fill the tank and use the timer.I have been using the filtered water from my refrigerator in an attempt to keep the filter from getting full of calcium or other contaminants. So far so good.

It was very humid, did not work very well for me.

Let me start by saying this is not an air-conditioning unit. It is an evaporative cooling machine. The main things I notice with this unit is the various features it has which helps to accommodate varying rooms, and the remote which prevents from having to get up and change the setting while in bed. I also notice that the air in the room we are using it in has more moisture..but if I'm being honest, I really don't notice a difference in the coolness of the air. The ice packs given with the unit are nice but they thaw rather quickly leaving the water room temperature. Maybe there needs to be 2 more to really make the water colder. If you are looking to really cool a room down with a noticeable change in temperature, just spring for a window AC unit or one of those mobile ones.

I never thought this product how convenient and easy to use. So far everything works well as long as you add cold water from your ref or adds some ice cubes, then your good.

I live in Phoenix Arizona. It's 105 F most days with 25% humidity. In order for this little machine to cool your 100 sqft room, you MUST add Ice to the water or else it'll be a humid mess. I bought those whiskey ice ball makers and they work wonders cooling down my bedroom at least 8 degrees so I can sleep at night. There are many good qualities this air-cooler has, you just need to add ice on a daily basis to reap the benefits!!

Purchased this product for our two car garage.It worked exactly how I thought it would.I froze the filters, froze a block of ice utilizing a Tupperware & tossed that into the tank, also froze a two liter bottle and poured cold water into the tank. So I freeze an a block of ice & a two liter.That works really good for me.
