What I Like: The Fill-In Book for Kids Paperback – November 22, 2019

Great ideas for writing and drawing prompts. 93 pages. Sweet illustrations for coloring.Inclusivity:Gender is mostly neutral or references to binary gender by the reader’s choice (“If you were a king or queen”) There are a couple references to parents of two binary genders in a nuclear, traditional family. The questions can still be responded to by children in all types of families. Race is rarely depicted but all illustrations are implied Caucasian.Book quality:There are some self-publishing issues that do not affect the quality of the item: page numbers appear in the crease rather than the corners of the pages, for example, and some other minor typesetting issues. A World map outline Is printed vertically (landscape turned on a portrait page), but the type runs horizontally, making the page confusing, even when turned.Some illustrations are printed in grayscale. If they were outline-only they would reproduce better and be more coloring-friendly.Paper quality is nicer than a coloring book but still thin. To make this a great product (for which it has the potential—it could be a keepsake), a thicker paper would be ideal to prevent bleed-through, especially if a child chooses to use pens or markers or colors with any crayons using pressure.

A way to keep tract during different ages of what the children thought...can always revisit and add on.

I wasn’t too impressed. Had bought it as a present but ended up returning it. Nice idea, but not great quality.

Looks like it could be cute but I have no idea what the inside pages look like. A preview of a few pages would be helpful in deciding to purchase or not.

Interesting to see that children seem to know exactly what they like. 😉 They almost couldn’t put the book down.
