Van HeusenMen's Dress Shirt Regular Fit Poplin Solid

Our grandson wore this shirt to his Senior Breakfast the 3rd week in May. He looked so nice and the fit was beautiful on him. He was recently diagnosed at M D Anderson with a lifelong, serious, genetic syndrome. He had major surgery the last of April. I was worried about his going but so proud of him that he wanted to go to his Senior Breakfast three weeks later. He had not seen his classmates for 2 1/2 months. He lasted through most of the breakfast and decided to forego his senior walk. The heat was too much. Again, this shirt lifted his spirits and we also order a beautiful black tie. All the senior men were dressed like this too. I will definitely order this shirt again. I was so greatful they had this in his size. You won't be disappointed with this beautiful shirt. God Bless.

These Van Heusen shirts are a winner. The material is comfortable to wear and they maintain their shape after washing. My husband loved them so much I had to order him more colors.

I like these shirts but I have a few issues with the white ones. I wear these almost everyday when not at my job. I have about 10 of them and have been wearing these for about two years. The first shirt I ever bought from them had this weird bumpy defect along the collar and I almost never wore dress shirts back then so I did not think of it as that much if an issue at first until I started paying closer attention to the collars of other peoples dress shirts when out in public. I ended up buying a few more and these ones did not have this issue. I wish I could have returned the first one for a replacement. I noticed that the white shirts are somewhat see through to the point I feel embarrassed to wear the white ones in public unless I am wearing it with a sweater vest or something else that I will not be taking off while in public. You almost see your body through the white shirts, there is a noticeable difference in contrast of points where the shirt has more layers of material such as the pocket, cuffs, area with the buttons, and the collar. These parts make it more noticeable that the shirt is see through. Again, this only applies to the white ones. Another issue with the White shirts is that the color of the buttons is a disgusting yellow which makes the shirt look ugly and makes me feel embarrassed to wear. I noticed that the shade of yellow on the buttons varies on each white shirt I buy, I have four white ones. One has super ugly yellow buttons, two have somewhat yellow buttons, and one seems to have nice transparent buttons. If you are going to buy these, I would say avoid the White ones. I really do like the black ones and the red ones though.

I have gotten many compliments wearing this brand. It is comfortable and professional.
