Sharp & Comfortable to Cut With Once Your Get the Technique
Although I think this is useful in the kitchen, I don’t think I use it as much as a family who chops/minces bunches of herbs. I have found alternative uses such as with lettuce which it handled really well but also when making a date & walnut cake it handled the walnuts (even the dates) incredibly well – but again a knife does the same job. That being said your fingers don’t get in the cutting mix as you just need to rock the blade over the ingredients and it chops quickly. I have also cut cheese slices with it which again it handled really well.I like that it can be folded in half which doubles up for storing safely (very sharp blade) as well as taking up very little space. It is comfortable to cut with and the blade has a plastic cover which doesn’t hold very well & will eventually get lost.Having not used one before I had to get used to the technique of using it correctly by rocking back and forth (seesaw motion) over ingredients. The product description says dishwasher safe but the instructions on the packaging mention to not use the dishwasher for several months so unsure of which is correct but I would only handwash something like this. It's good - it's useful but not something I would use regularly enough to consider being an essential gadget in my kitchen.

Some may find it wobbly
We generally like this mezzaluna-- it's terribly handy and the folding handles make it easy to store in lots of places (it wound up being hung from a knife handle in our knife block). The blades are nice and sharp and cut well. But there are mixed reactions in our house to the folding handles. Personally, I feel it's just fine-- the little gears between the handles keeps the handles sufficiently stable when in use, and so the blade seems stable enough to me. However, my wife feels that handles feel a bit wobbly, although she still likes how it works. It may be that she's used to a dual-blade mezzaluna, and this might be something she notices with any single-blade unit. If you don't care about those kinds of things, then I suppose you could give this five stars, but with opinion divided I feel four is appropriate.

My chopper has received compliments!
This year, I sectioned off an area close to our patio, and planted up an herb garden. This has encouraged my wife and I to incorporate more fresh herbs into our cooking, and to use them as a garnish on salads etc. The only downside to this was that I'd been using a cheaper, smaller chopper, one that was frankly not up to the task - in truth, it was about as much use as an handbrake on a canoe. In contrast, this larger, yet space-saving one from MASTERCLASS is far superior, and has turned a chore into a pleasant experience. This is a simple yet cleverly designed product. It's just the right size, it's comfortable to use, and it has a VERY sharp stainless steel blade, which makes quick work of chopping our freshly-picked herbs. I particularly like how the blade can be safely folded away after use - this feature also means it won't get blunted when it's knocked around in the cutlery drawer. After use, we just carefully hand wash ours, dry it with a paper towel, fold it up, and store it away until next time. However, I do feel obliged to add one piece of sage advice to any nudists out there: Please be sure to keep any trailing limbs or reproductive organs clear of the blade when operating! Many thanks for reading my review & enjoy your cooking. 😊🍲🍝🍳
