Cuddly Dudley

This is a favorite book from the days I used to read to my kids. They all still love it. This is an item I love to give to new families. Kids love penguins and this book

This was a favorite book of mine as a child and I love giving it to friends as a part of a baby shower gift. We even named our puppy after Cuddly Dudley! However, I recently ordered a few copies from Amazon and was disappointed to get a different cover than what is pictured here. The one pictured here is the original cover (with him in the Hawaiian shirt running from his siblings) and instead I received a very boring (and not the original!!) plain blue cover with Dudley in the middle.

I love this little story. It's rare to find books about introverted penguins, and I totally identified with him. And I thought that little kids would identify with how much their moms want to cuddle and hug them, and they probably want to run away half the time, hehe. Cute and entertaining. :-)

We bought this as a gift for a kindergarten class. They loved it!! Fast delivery and a great price. Such a cute story.

I have used this book with Primary classes 1,2 and 3. They loved it. My granddaughters now 19 and 16 used to want Dudley as a bedtime story whilst they were young, it was a favourite of them too. Penguins are naturally amusing and Dudley especially so. Good text and illustrations.

What a MUST HAVE book! I first discovered Cuddly Dudley at my local library and my then 3 year old twins (who are now 6)loved it from beginning to end and it was on repeat check out with their library card! The story is wonderful, there is something to make you smile on every page... I am so pleased to have been able to finally buy it for them on Amazon. Yet again Amazon didn't let me down and the twins have read and re read Cuddly Dudley every night at bed time and they can both now also read it for themselves! Bliss! cannot recommend this book highly enough. If your children liked "Happy Feet" buy them this book.

I have bought this story as gifts for Pre School children for many years so had to buy it for my Niece who is about to turn 2. With bright pictures and a simple but lovely story line I find it appeals to both adults and children. I have recently found that Amazon seem to be the only place that stock this book and at a good price. I personally think that Cuddly Dudley is a children's classic to be enjoyed by all from 0-100 years.

Brilliant book! Great story about a penguin who likes to be alone and doesn’t want cuddles. However when he is alone realises how much his family and friends mean to him. It’s a funny story that my 3 year old loves
