These helped a little bit
My dog developed cataracts and ended up going blind. I placed these on doorways and table legs to help him find his way around. It helped a little, but he still bumped into the doors sometimes. The scent lasted a long time. I think part of the problem was that he went blind, then I introduced these new scents and he didn't really associate the scents with the object where it was placed. It probably would have been better if I could have placed these on the doors before he went completely blind so he could make the connection with the scent and the door, then use that connection after he went blind. But these did help for a few months. I did notice on several occasions that that thought he was going to bump his head on a door or table, but then turned away at the last second because he picked up on the scent of the marker. He ended up having cataract surgery at Virginia Tech and now he can see again! :-)

Didn't work with our dog!
Our dog has been blind for almost a year now. We put them on all the obstacles in our home and after about a month he'll still run right into them. I laid one on the counter to see if they still had a scent and it still has a bit of a smell but not much. I'm very disappointed by these.

Very happy to have this BEFORE she looses her sight
My female cattle dog still has her sight but it is failing. We've placed these around the house and on furniture/obstacles that she sometimes bumps into and they are definitely doing their job. Even before placing them around the house, she was all over the package, interested in the smells and nearly climbed over me to get to them to do some closer investigation. Very happy to have this BEFORE she looses her sight. Thank you Innovet Pet Products!

Didn't help my dog
My dog is mostly blind in dim light or dark, but these did not seem to help him. It may help a dog who is completely blind and in new/unknown surroundings, but put them on the refrigerator and cupboard doors so he would keep his distance or back away when opened and they don't work. Also tried to deter him from dangerous areas (steps) and guide him to other areas (ramps) but either he's too stubborn or they just don't work.

As long as she can enjoy a few things
This product did not work for me. I'm giving it three stars anyway because I suspect it does work for others. The problem in my case is that my dog, a long-haired dachshund named Piccolo, is fifteen years old and both blind and deaf. I believe that a touch of senility is in there too. If she were younger, I believe she would be able to process the information her nose gives her more successfully. As long as she can enjoy a few things, we are keeping her going. She still loves to eat and likes rides in the basket of my husband's bicycle, though she can no longer see the squirrels to bark at them. We carry her everywhere and give her lots of love. If you have a younger dog, I believe this product should help.

Good Product
I guess i can't be totally sure if they help my dog very much, but he does like the smell. When we first put them on, we went to each spot and rubbed them so he would know they're there. He gets around pretty well.

It doesn't work
I am very unhappy with this product. My dog became blind rather suddenly and I was very excited to hear about this product. I should have saved my money.

Terrific idea.
I purchased these for my blind dog because I was moving. He lost his vision very suddenly, so I was concerned about his navigating ability in the new house. He is such a freaking genius that I never had to use them. They smell vaguely like a "urinal mint", but the odor is neither strong or offensive. They do seem like a terrific idea.
