I recently had a minor amount of deer damage to a recently planted gingko sapling. The corrugated tree guards are perfect for protecting the tree from deer rubs as well preventing rabbits from chewing on the trunk of the tree when a blanket of snow makes the young tree a tempting target for food. The guards are very easy to install and will be just as easy to remove when the tree gets larger. The plastic material should be very durable. The guards are a perfect solution to varmint damage.

I am using these to protect my young fruit trees. I worry that without them being vented it will cause diseases or rot.

New puppies discovered newly planted trees, and would take a quick bite on the trunks in passing. These tree guards were easy to cut to different lengths for each tree and now the puppies are not interested in biting the tree trunks - may have to figure out another solution to stop the puppies grabbing a low branch or two.

You can cut them to the length you want

This product fit around my 2 1/2 feet tall grafted mango tree perfectly. I did n't need my husband's help because it was so easy to install around the trunk. It's really helping protect the tree bark from being chewed up by all the squirrels in my backyard. Glad I caught it before the tree was completely girdled.

I was so glad to find these guards since no retail shop sells them here. They are for my newly planted trees yet I haven't used them yet but I will come spring. These are good for protecting the bark from animals and sun plus they make a nice barrier when weed wacking. You can't get real aggressive with trimming but it might save the tree. I have used these in the past. It is the third year on the older trees and they have stood the test of time
