NECTASWEET SUGAR SUB TB 0.5 GR 1000

You can't find this product anymore at the supermarkets so I'm thankful that I can find it on Amazon. I've used Necta-Sweet (saccharin) for nearly 40 years in my hot coffee or hot tea...and never once had any health problems related to it. Nor have I had a metallic taste with Necta-Sweet. I prefer the taste (once well dissolved) of Necta-Sweet to anything with aspartame. Two 1/2 grain tabs satisfies my sweet tooth, otherwise I'd be using 4-5 tsp of sugar! For ice tea, ice lemon water or cold cereals, I'll use the liquid (difficult to gage the drops) or powder (2 or 3 packets) form of saccharin which is found in Sweet'N Low, however, the powder does need to be stirred in well or there will be a brief metallic taste. Not only is it just so much quicker to grab 2 - 1/2 grain tabs for a hot drink, I can carry enough (~30) tabs for a week's trip in a tiny container to use in the hot coffee/teas made in my hotel room; rather than carry ~30 packets of Sweet'N Low. I can't stand the taste of that blue packet (aspartame). I've been finding lately that restaurants & hotels are carrying saccharin less & less... but almost always carries the aspartame packets. Even when I request the pink packet, I find that most don't carry it. Truvia, Stevia, Splenda are just not sweet enough for me. I also find it odd that most everything 'sugar-free' has aspartame in it, much more so than Splenda (sucralose). Aspartame sugar substitute has been "scientifically proven to cause health problems in humans and animals." Whereas, saccharin "may add to the body's toxic load" due to a 1970's study where lab rats given huge amounts of saccharin "were more likely to develop cancer than rodents who didn't."

I've been using this product since I was 12 years old, and I'm now going on 78. With no ill affects. so the goverments pulling the product off the shelve was contaminated information to the public. As now I recieved a Email from FDA that saccharnn is now to be available.

Nectasweet is saccharin (Sweet and Low) without the packaging. Saccharin is the most studied of all artificial sweeteners and unlike aspartame (Nutrasweet) and Sucralose (Splenda) it is not broken down in the body and leaves in the same form it enters.Both Splenda and Nutrasweet cause me to have insomnia, but Nectasweet does not.
