This is a good looking chair and seems to be well made. The wood is solid but is not maple as has been suggested. The seat and back cushions are very firm, so it feels like you are sitting on top of the chair rather than sitting down in the chair. The back cushions seem to make me sit straight up, almost a bit forward, rather than back at a relaxed angle. Hopefully they’ll break in soon and that will change. My only real disappointment is with the reclining position. It’s either sit straight up or fully recline to an almost horizontal position. Somewhere in between, like most recliners I’ve had, would be better; like the one shown in the second photo in the listing. There seems to be a slight detent spot in the mechanism at just about the half reclined point, but there is no way to stop it and keep it there. If anyone knows of a way to adjust this, it would be good to know.Overall though I do like it.

We bought 2 chairs in navy color. Shipping was a complete hassle, slower than usual, sloppy, and they were supposed to deliver by contacting us in advance & getting a signature for the delivery. Nope. We came home from work with 2 huge boxes piled on top of each other in the driveway, with bent & ripped boxes. Luckily, the chairs inside were not harmed and are VERY NICE. Our only concern is each chair is occasionally difficult to manually get these to lay back and then sit forward again. Needs too much muscle to comfortably maneuver the chairs. That said, we are happy with our purchase and we hope we can use them for years to come.

I bought this chair 17 years ago and have loved it so much that I wanted 2 more. I could not find it in furniture stores. I was surprised to find it on Amazon and was nervous purchasing online for fear of damage in shipping. I received them in perfect condition, I assembled them myself (just slip the back section onto the seat section) and I’m very happy. They are beautiful, incredibly comfortable and well made!

The chair has wonderful leather and is very sturdy feeling. I’m short so the seat is a little higher than I like but it is super easy to push back and extend the footrest. The delivery process was a bit confusing but once it was finally confirmed delivery was on time and the people who delivered were super. They unpacked the chair and assembled it inside the room where I needed it. That was totally unexpected and a big bonus. Right now the wait time on ordering a chair from the furniture store in my town is 24-36 weeks. Amazon 10 days. This chair is the same quality you would get at a fine furniture place.

It is firmer than my old Lazy Boy but seems to be better constructed. Seems strange in a time when the Lazy Boy store wants 9-12 months to get you a recliner that you can just buy one on Amazon and have it in two weeks!

Although it is made in china it is really sturdy, comfortable, nice leathers, the only negative part was the shipping process.

I bought this to replace my old Lazy Boy Eldorado. Almost identical in size, looks, and seems like quality for half the price. Almost no work to assemble. Very pleased.

Appreciated the included assembly. Wish the vendor had realized that Amazon Home Services was doing the assembly so the shipping was done right. Turned out ok in the long run. Daimler-Benz bought my two recliners due to my receipt of a check for a class action payment. Thank you Daimler-Benz!
