Rust-Oleum AMZ0031 Chalky Furniture Paint Bramwell 125ml

This is too tiny to do anything other than something small I started on my cupboard here and this was one coat and used nearly the whole tin, so don’t go along way either as it was very thick paint. So buy a big tin if for cupboards or anything bigger than a postage stamp.

Brilliant paint , leaves a lovely finish

Good stuff I used to finish of my frame on my mirror to achieve vintage look. It worked better than I expected . Only need a bit too .The tin is very small however , this was expected as the size Is given

Nice quality chalk paint covers well

Painted my bedroom furniture and love this paint. It’s mess free easy to use and drys in minutes. Best thing I’ve done with my furniture

I painted 2 shelves and a small newspaper stand/ side table with this small pot. It covered the pine coloured shelves in 1 coat, but the mahogany table required 4 coats. The paint is a bit too thick so I recommend to mixing it with water for ease of use (6 to 1 ratio seemed to work well).Post 1 month review- all was well until I used spray varnish to cover the paint. The paint literally melted as soon as the spray particles touched on it no matter from what distance I applied it the varnish. The whole table was ruined. I first blamed the varnish, but then I tested it with another chalk paint (RM). The results were great; no damage or discolouration whatsoever.I certainly won’t be buying this brand anymore.

I managed to paint a large toy bench with this small tin, I used one coat which gave a bit more of a rustic look.The first section I painted was a bit streaky, however when I mixed the paint with a little water it applied really well streak free. The colour Bramwell was perfect for me, a little lighter than the picture but I liked the finished result.

Advertised as a 'Furniture Paint' with 'No priming or sanding required' - if you read the small print instructions on the tin you will see that sanding is recommended on 'bare wood'. I painted a wooden table top and sanded it before painting then followed all of the instructions regarding paint application and drying times. The paint was then sealed with two layers of finishing wax. Unfortunately the finished painted/waxed surface is very easily scratched - given that this is being sold as a 'furniture paint' I am disappointed that the results are not very durable. Now planning to strip the table back to the wood and apply a more durable paint. A shame because the colour is lovely.
