Wish tank was bigger
Full disclosure: I bought this from CostCo not Amazon. Humidifier is effective. Aesthetically it looks good and much nicer than the Homedics humidifier I formerly had (but had a tank that lasted 48 hours) that stopped working. It blends in to a home decor MUCH better than the typical white unit with blue tank. I have to fill the Objecto tank 2-3x a day (depending on if i run it on high or medium.) If you're ok with that, buy away.I've had the W9 for a year now and it's still going strong. I use it in a very dry, mountain town and it runs continually.I also have the smaller Objecto W7. By comparison, the W7 water tank is more fiddly to try to get it in place. The W9 seems to have a more powerful motor as well. The "steam" pattern on the W9 actually goes vertically up a solid 18" above the top of the unit; whereas the W7 steam slightly goes up (maybe 6-8") then cascades down towards the floor. This might not be ideal if you're using the unit on carpet as it does get a little damp.

Expensive and broke after 1 year
I purchased this product from Costco for $299.00 over a year ago. It's not working. The motor is running but I'm not getting any steam from it, nor is the water evaporating. I reached out to the company and they want $40.00 to look at it and I will have to pay for any parts needed, I also have to pay to ship it back to company and a prepaid label to ship it back to me. Who knows how much that will come to by the time I'm done. I am going to purchase a different humidifier and will never an Objecto humidifier again. Please don't waste your money on this product it's horrible, for the amount that I paid for it I'm sorry but it should have lasted way longer than a year and it's not like I even used it all the time. I also cleaned it after every use. HORRIBLE

Great humidifier, but small water tank!
I bought this humidifier from Costco a year ago, and run it in my master bedroom. It runs for 8 hours on a tank of water on the number two setting (blue). I live in Nevada and it keeps that room at a comfortable 50-55% humidity. On the max setting the room goes to 60-70%. This thing is fairly large and could have supported a much larger tank easily. Overall satisfied.

Broke after 2 weeks of refilling it.
Bought this diffuser at Costco. Sorry. It was 149.99 after 2 weeks the plastic water container and it’s spring drip cap split and a chunk broke off. At that point it was just a return. I wouldn’t buy another one. While it worked it was great for large rooms.

Not good quality
Awful. Bought at Costco and the water tank broke within a few months of having it. Fixed and sealed the water tank and it’s still leaking. WAY too much money for terrible quality.
