Born With A Tooth

Joseph Boyden writes with a unique style that keeps the reader fully involved with the characters. His stories can be both amusing and brutally descriptive. His first novel "The Three Day Road" was one of those "can't put it down" books. Both the novel and the book of short stories have something in common. Even if you check back numerous times, you are still never sure what actually happens to the characters. Makes for interesting discussions with others that have read the books.

This man is my favorite author of all times.Run fast and get his books.They all seem like true stories about the Canadian Indian families.And so well written, you enter into each and every life in the stories.Love it, love it.

Tremendous short stories about life in isolated Northern Ontario. I have read 4 books by this Canadian author and have Kikwaakew waiting to go. Very talented writer!

Joseph Boyden is undoubtedly one of the great writers in Canada today. Loved Three Day Road and I was hooked on his writing after that. Born With A Tooth takes you there . My husband lived in Moose Factory and recognized immediately.

These are stories that need to be heard and can teach a lot about what has shaped and has been stolen from this generation of Canada 's First Nations.

Well done showing the way it was but failed to tell much about the effort to change that is being done today .

Book came in great condition. I just wish they would use a different type of identifying sticker on it. It is so hard to get the sticker off without damaging the book

Joseph Boyden has captured the spirit of First Nations people through his writing. First book of many to come.
