I bought this for my USB mic that I use for podcasting. The mic is fairly heavy, and I was worried that this inexpensive suspension boom might not support the weight, but it holds the mic just at the right height, even though it's mounted clear over on the side of my desk, so it needs to reach quite far to the side! It comes with a plastic microphone clip, which I didn't need, since my USB mic mounts directly to the common size mic stand threads, which the mic holder end of this boom has. Took a while to get it, since it's shipped from China, but at the price, it's well worth the wait! Happy!

For the price this isn't a bad deal. Sure it's not a high quality stand but you are not paying the high price for it either. For it's price range it is not bad at all and seems to be working very well.

This is exactly what I was looking for and needed. This item has completed my studio for my radio shows and voiceover work.

Set up is easy and works great with my desk setup. Haven't had anything break or loosen, works amazingly well.

This would have been a lot better. If it wasnt for the fact that It comes half assebled. And when you finish assemblig it, it falls apart every 30 mins. Not to mention that I had to add a "coil" thing, so i could scre the mic holder one. D

After waiting 24 days for this garbage to arrive from China, the mic clip doesn't attach to the arm. The threads are completely different. Now I get to file a claim and wait another 48 hours to see if I can even get my money back. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
