... time I purchased this memory it was an incredibly good price and Prime eligible
At the time I purchased this memory it was an incredibly good price and Prime eligible. The specification are accurate and I have had no issues with the memory. I personally am not doing any overclocking on my system so I cannot speak how this memory performs on an overclocked rig. What I can tell you is that I do not follow the best practices for cable management or overall heat management and this memory is working wonderfully. I do have a matched pair and it runs perfectly in duel channel mode. There are of course some limitations with compatibility as with any PC component. Check the motherboard owners manual for compatible memory types. This is a great upgrade if your system can make use of it!

Mine works great. remember
All that was necessary was to install the ram on the motherboard. How? turn off power. Disconnect the power cord. Push the power button on the computer.!! Why?? The board still has residual electricity stored on it because some components still have a charge. Pushing the power button when it is unplugged draws the charge out and completely drains the mother board. Depending on the number of sticks there are on the machine, remove the ones that fill the pared slots. If only two sticks, put them in the matching pare. they are color coded. Reverse the disconnect procedure, and turn on the computer. the computer will do the rest. you can check the bios to see the ram, or in windows, right click on the "my computer: icon or right click on "computer" and select properties and look for the installed ram. It will tell you how much ram you got. If it is not all showing, you will have to power down again and reseat the ram. Mine works great. remember. 64 bit can use more ram then 32 bit computers.

Appears to be working properly.
So far, I am glad I purchased this used memory. My $ went twice as far, it was easy to install, and it shipped quick. Photoshop and Lightroom launch much faster.

Works but arrived bent??
I ordered 2 of these sticks of 4gb ddr3 memory to upgrade an old PC. The ram arrived packaged in a paper envelope that has bubble wrap inside, and the sticks were in an anti-static bag inside the envelope. Unfortunately, I guess the bubble wrap isn't strong enough because when I took these out of the bag and tried to put them into my computer, I noticed that they weren't matching up to the slots on my motherboard. I awkwardly bent the bottom of the stick to line up with the bottom of the ram slot after I had lined up the top correctly, and had to put some pressure on the middle of the stick to keep it straight enough to actually go into the slot.I'm not sure if I would buy these again because, while they do work, there is always the potential that by having to straighten out the bent sticks of ram you will damage the memory, or even damage the slot on your motherboard... 5 stars for being in working order, minus 1 star per stick I had to straighten out to fit into my computer.

Easiest way to speed up your slow computer!
What can I say, it is ram by Crucial! I don't think you can go wrong with it. It is all I buy. If you aren't sure what you need go to crucials website and use the crucial scan tool. It will scan your system and tell you how much ram you currently have and how many open slots you have and how much memory your specific computer can handle. Computers do have a maximum amount of memory that they can utilize so don't go in blindly! It is not all the same! They have many types and if you buy the wrong type you can damage the memory or worse! I doubled the amount in my son's desktop and by doing this I maxed it out. 8gb is the most his computer could handle. However it made his year old computer way faster then it was! As he says, his games are no longer lagging! As for installation, you unplug everything and remove a couple of screws and bam! Literally took me 3 minutes once I removed the wires. Less than 10 minutes from start to finish. Windows 8.1 loaded faster than ever! If you aren't sure, check YouTube. Even if you don't find your exact computer you will have a good idea on what to do. Never pay someone to do a job this easy. By the way, get a can of that computer dusting air or a vacuum while you have it apart. You would be amazed at how much dust can accumulate in a year or more!

Great RAM for the price!
I purchased these RAM to upgrade the RAM of the work computers to 16GB: The price is fantastic for each 4GB RAM stick. Installation was easy and they work like a charm. The quality of the RAM seem to be solid as well, but I will update this review after a few months to say if they're still good or if I experienced any issues with them. Otherwise, I'm happy with them for now :)

Crucial memory cards excellent choice for routine fix of memory problems
I have an older CPU that I originally bought with VISTA OS and subsequently updated to WIN7 with a change in motherboard, CPU upgrade and video upgrade.Bought two (2) 4 GB cards to replace flawed pair of 2 GB cards. I kept having boot problems with my machine and didn't realize that this was due to a pair of my memory cards working intermittently. After checking with a memory card utility it indicated that one pair of the original memory cards in my machine were simply flawed.Crucial cards were received two days earlier than promised and replacement was very easy. Machine has been working flawlessly since replacement.

I am very satisfied with the Crucial memory
No problems. Installed and computer recognized the additional memory with no problems. Could give it 5 stars and I have not had it very long to confirm reliabiltiy. But, at this point, I am very satisfied with the Crucial memory.

Buenas memorias
Funcionan bien y son rápidas para una computadora de trabajo de oficina y ese estilo. También funciona bien con los juegos aunque para verdaderos gamers hay otros modelos. Para computadoras básicas son buenas y funcionan correctamente.

Works great on a Dell Optiplex 3010
Pretty good value considering this was only £20 for a 4GB stick of RAM.Works perfectly in my Dell Optiplex 3010, now boosted up to 8GB. Installed with an existing factory fitted 4GB stick of Samsung memory and it works fine and now operates in the faster dual channel mode.
