Solid barcode scanner for the price. Much more durable than other models that are actually more expensive. Every once in a while it will miss reading a code that looks perfectly readable, but the misses are few and far between. Overall this is a great scanner for a great price.

Despite the description clearly stating that the unit was USB and had a USB Host Interface, that is not the case. The unit has a RJ-45 cable connector and requires a special cable in order to work. I had seen other units listed elsewhere for a relatively similar price that included the cable. Nowhere in the description or product details does it say that a separate cable is required.

Being a hyperion - this has incredible accuracy and is the only scanner Handsome Jack uses.

It worked perfectly right out of the box. Minimal learning curve.
