Kinda hard to work with ngl
So I go this because it seemed like a great product to take some ease off of counting my change by hand. However, from the start, it was not easy. To put batteries in you have to have a tiny screwdriver one like for glasses repair, which those who may not own/need glasses would be hard to have on hand. Then when you start counting, the machine does not make the correct calculation of the coin that was inserted (mainly for coins that are close in size like pennies and dimes). While using the addition and minus buttons also stopped working within the day that I go it. Honestly, it was a hassle to use and hurt my fingers after a while. But I mean like it got the job done but not in the fashion that I believed that it was striving for.So it's not bad-bad but not like A1 :/

Faulty at times but convenient
This little bank is great for storing and counting coins, but I unfortunately have run into issues. First, the screw to unscrew the battery slot is so delicate that it shredded when trying to unscrew it and it was impossible to get it off without breaking the cover off. This is not much of an issue as you cannot see the battery pack when the lid is screwed to the top.Additionally, occasionally when putting coins in as it counts, it will randomly reset, and you have to recount the coins you are placing into the bank. It's super frustrating. Otherwise, I enjoy watching my coin savings grow.

It has trouble counting pennies
Whenever I would enter a penny into a counter, it would register as a dime and then give me an inaccurate reading of the money I have. I tried it with multiple pennies and it always counted as a dime no matter what. And yes, I was putting a penny in the counter and not a dime.

Teaching kids to save
Love the ability to count change correctly. This is not only showing kids (and adults) to save, it's helping them count as well. I've encouraged my 6-yr old to count and add the money before putting it in the lid to see if he comes up with the same total.
