Prophetic Encouragement!
Gene speaks prophetically into scattered feelings and situations! One of the most encouraging books I have read and needed(and still need!) while going through a very trying transition. I highly recommend this book as a road map to walk through times of transition and trials!

John Maxwell and Bob Goff fans take note; this book will challenge and motivate you.
Do you ever purchase a book with the idea of diving right in only to allow it to collect dust until you can finally get around to pulling it from the shelf of so many others that have suffered the same fate? Perhaps, like me, your life is Scattered. When I finally pushed life to the side and picked up this book I had to chastise myself for not getting to it sooner. What better way to recognize my potential than finding, and more importantly, reading a book that helps to give me focus? After reading this book I see what the author sees throughout scripture. What stood out to me, and maybe an unintended objective of Mr. Brack, was the concept that David, long before becoming King, was given opportunities to hone his skills. He didn’t chase after a lion or bear to try out his slingshot skills. Instead the challenge of the lion and the bear had to come to him. They stood in the way of him doing his job. It was through standing up to those challenges that he was prepared for greater challenges that his future was to bring.Scattered gives us the window to what it takes to bring order to our world and focus toward our future. If you like John Maxwell or Bob Goff, you will love Gene Brack. I highly recommend this read. But be forewarned, you will be changed.

Faith encourager!
This book not only pertains to navigating life's changes, fear of change, life's ups and downs, but the uncertainly we are all living in today. The timing of this book is from God alone. The author uses scripture to open our eyes, encourage us, challenge us and help us see who we really are and how to live it out. One of my favorite parts very early in the book is where he talks about either being a 'consumer' or a 'contributor' in life and what God's perspective is.This book is definitely a faith encourager!I not only bought this book for my husband and I but also bought two more for our son who's recently divorced with everything changing in his life and for our son-in-law whose path in life has rapidly changed. I know they will be blessed and renewed after reading it. I would recommend this book to anyone in any stage of their life.

Making sense out of the world's upheaval
This is an excellent application of the principles in the book of James to the worldwide confusion/upheaval which surrounds us today. It helps us to understand that while we have problems, God has a plan for us. Backed up by the scripture, it gives us hope in the midst of turmoil.

Ever felt scattered?
What a timely book. My personal life over the past 6 years has mostly been scattered to say the least. The Lord has been teaching me and leading me in picking up the pieces after having walked through the unwanted and unfamiliar life event of divorce. The nuggets of truth and biblical references resonate with me on a deep and personal level. I'd recommend this book to anyone.
