I bought this for my friend's two teenage (14 & 15 yrs old) daughters they were very excited about it but her 8 year old son took it immediately and started skimming recipes. He started making a shopping list for something he had chosen.The parents are pleased it has kitchen and work space skills as well as teaching about flavor pairing. The recipes are explanatory and easy to follow which keeps the kids interested.All five of us highly recommend this book for teens and youngsters.So cute to see her kids reading and skimming this book cover to cover.Bon Appetite!

The cookbook has recipes that are easy for my granddaughter to understand and cook.

Gift for my 13 year old granddaughter. She loves to cook so I thought she could expand her skills with some recipes from this book.

I’m giving this four stars, just because some of the recipes aren’t anything a teenager would make or eat. The majority is good though, and I think my teen is going to have fun with it. Mostly simple recipes. Has different chapters for different things like snacks, cooking for one, cooking for a group with and without meat, etc.I’d definitely buy again!

Great book for beginner. Recipes are easy to follow and ingredients are simple and mostly what you would already have in your pantry. Nice variety of recipes, both in the different levels of difficulty and the choice of recipes themselves. Even though the title says it’s a cookbook for teens, I am gifting it to my 10 year old granddaughter. She will be able to follow and prepare many of the recipes (with supervision, at first ) and then continue on to the more involved recipes as she gets older. I would recommend this book to anyone with a “ budding chef” !

Bought these as Christmas gifts for grandson and granddaughter as they are learning to cook and they want to expand their repertoire of recipes.

Its a decent cookbook, BUT why couldn't they include even a single photo of a completed recipe ??FOR THE $$$ it was disappointing, kids don't generally have the experience of how a typical menu item would look after being properly prepared, let alone how to be presented ? (Plated at the least would've been appreciated )

I was so disappointed to receive a cookbook designed for teens and absolutely no pictures of any recipe. Not a single visual image - I have never seen a cookbook with words only. Waste of money.
