Fun With Dragons Stencils (Dover Little Activity Books: Fantasy)

I love these dragons from different cultures. I am not a skilled drawer, so the stencils provide the prefect templates for my own dragons. I've made a series of popup cards using the dragons in various sizes and styles and it's thrilled me to no end. And now I can share the joy and send out my dragon card. I've yet to use them as stencils, though now with resizing and amending, I have many more stencils. ( I would have added pictures, but the option not available).

Great stencils! My son loves tracing and coloring these dragons. The nice thing about these is that the pages are perforated, so the individual pages can be torn out to make tracing easier. The dragon name or country of origin are listed on each page.

I bought these so I could put a bit of creativity in my son's first bday cake (born year of the dragon)--I used a stencil to make a dragon shaped (gel) frosting design on top of his cake. The wax covering wasn't enough to stand up to the whipped cream frosting and the decorative gel icing that I used to fill in the stencil but it was an inexpensive solution to my lack of creativity! I would use it again--but know it will have to be a different dragon shape because once it is put thru that type of use--it will not do as well another time :(

Love these -they're very small (read the dimensions), but they are as promised. There is only one design in the book that isn't "awesome" by the standards of a 9 year old dragon-loving boy. I used them with glow in the dark paint to stencil dragons all over the walls that can be seen at night. Book has easy to use perforations.

Bought every one of these little books that were available. They are small, about 1/4 the size of a standard sheet of paper. The inside is medium weight card stock and each page has one stencil. There are maybe 8 to 10 pages of stencils based on the book's theme in each book. Wouldn't use for a painting project, but I'm planning to turn them into fabric applique designs, and they will be perfect for that use.

I like the stencils themselves easy to use and can be reused.i didn’t like the style of dragons but that is my own feelings not to take away from the stencil itself

These worked out very well for our daughter's dragon themed 8th birthday party!

These are very flimsy and difficult to use. The edges are perforated to remove from the book but tore easily.

The artist is wonderfully amazing, unique designs, well made, sturdy structure. Kind price.

I had these books years ago for painting/stencilling on mirrors and pictures etc.These are postcard size, each card says where the dragon is from - (Italian/French/Chinese etc) which helps a lot.Thick terrace card stencils that last and last.Cheap and cheerful. Don't bother with negative reviews, if you're starting out and want to upcycle mirrors, picture frames, glasses etc etc then these are what you need!BTW I'm 48 so not a child, but really easy to use for all ages

Just love these little books they take the worry of getting a good outline in which to Zentangle. The outlines of dragons are very popular with little boy birthday cards.

Very disappointing, the photo is deceptive. Not what I was expecting.The description should say POCKET SIZE.The stencils are fairly small cut outs, about postcard size or smaller with no definition of scales, etc. The pages are actually quite flimsy, I doubt they could be used “time and time again”.Would not recommend if you’re looking to use for detailed work or large size.
