This car is fast out of the box and ready to run after you charge the battery. However, you need make sure you are not driving more than 175ft away or so because the range is not the best. One thing to note is that this car has very good stock components for what you pay for (metal gears, shocks etc). I was a RC kid growing up and I love off road buggy’s and trucks. After a week of this stock motor I had to upgrade lol. Picked up the Goolrc 4350KV ($26) burgundy motor and a 5200mah lipo ( $25 for two) this thing took off like a rocket! This car was listed as a “drift car” I don’t agree its a mini RC Tesla. Get some sticky tire and you got yourself a rocket. BTW, you can still drift because the motor is so fast it just spins. Good bang for the buck for under $275 with a new motor, set of new tires and a couple of battery’s this is a excellent buy.

This little car is fun right out of the box. Charged the battery, put on drift tires, went outside, and let it rip for about an hour before needing a charge. Switch to the road tires and make a few adjustments and man is it quick too. On top of that there are a ton of upgrades you can find too. All around fun RC car and well worth it.

Easy 5 stars. Seller was great to work with. Car arrived and body was somehow cracked. Seller immediately responded and tracked down a new body and had it shipped.I put on-road tires on car and this thing is fast. Still drifts, but at high speeds. So much fun.

Drift tires are two hard they need a robot base to help with the spin outs on ground that isn’t perfect. I didn’t know the parts available until I received the product advertise the catalog it comes with so customers know how upgradable these cars are

Get the lower end one.. Rebuild it..

I bought this car for my son as a beginners drift car. It did not disappoint. Very fast, easy to control. Think i might buy myself one for Christmas.

It's my lil baby update : still works like a charmm no maintenance problems except be careful deiving on the road and how low the body is i chipped the front on a tiny pebble and that chip eventually broke the shell gatta new shell basically a new car
