If you are a woman looking for a classic field watch that is solar powered, this watch will work. Seems there are lots of solar watches for men but few for women and no solar field watches at all. At 40 mm, the watch isn't too big for a woman's wrist and the band adjusts to wrists even smaller than mine. The only issue is the face is a bit odd - minutes on outer ring, hours on inner and much smaller - but that's OK. If the watch is durable, that'll be great but if not it was inexpensive, not like a solar Timex field watch.

Wanted an affordable solar watch as I already have a few higher-end ones. Took a chance on the Lad brand and the fantastic deals on them offered only on Amazon. This watch does not disappoint, beautiful and well made, great finish on metal case and very nice optically clear crystal. Very comfortable canvas band too. All colours true to images on Amazon. In fact watch looks better in person. Arrives needing a charge, just ser it in sunlight or a lamp, easy-peazy-lemon-squeezy. The first one I bought is keeping perfect time and date function. I bought two more! Watch lets you know when its getting low and needs to spend time in light by skipping a second. When the second hand moves in two-second increments it needs exposure to light. I.love that there's no batteries to worry about. Best prices, selection, quality, customer service & best/fastest delivery on Amazon. What's not to love?
