best mounting ever no more velcro on the tank rite at ur finger tips and looks good to made really strong and stays in place kuryakyn did a good job on this and NO ITS ALL METAL not there usual plastic crap got it shipped fast to ride safe

Looks and works great. It's unfortunate that there isn't a black version.

This is a convenient and creative option for mounting your phone / ipod / GPS / etc. to your motorcycle in a visible and accessible location. It's better than a handlebar option since that tends to shake considerably on a big Harley. However, in true Kuryakyn fashion, this part is ALMOST great ... if only it fit correctly ... it fits well enough that I'll keep it, but it sure doesn't fit WELL like the OEM part did. The mounting point is off just a little bit causing the fuel door to sit forward just a tiny bit causing 2 issues: First, there is a bit of a gap at the bottom making it look like a cheap aftermarket part; Second, because the fuel door is offset to the front just a bit, it 'rubs' on closing and is difficult to fully seat closed. A cantilevered hinge setup like this fuel door requires precise placement of the hinge for things to line up properly and Kuryakyn just doesn't manufacture this part with that level of precision. A+ for concept; C- for implementation.

Great for mounting a GPS or cell phone to (I know, shouldn't be using a cell phone...and I don't, I use it for the music!). The hole placement is very versatile. Easy to install....5 mins! Highly recommend.

Good option to mount over the fuel tank. well built, but the look is functional but not stylish (If that is what you are looking for).
