Does everything it's designed to do... First the price is unbeatable. The tool and the included adapter for my Mini Split heat pump fit perfectly. No Leaks. I looked things up on how to use the tool so I was confident on how to use it. A HVAC contractor online said to put some HEAVY grease (like axle grease) on the end of the tools rod so the old/new Schrader valve could stick as it was removed/replaced. that worked pretty good. Just don't over tighten things including the replacement valve. Otherwise the seal could deform too much and cause a leak. The included Schrader valves were correct for my unit and worked fine. I tested the valves with undiluted dish soap before I put the cover cap back on. No Bubbles. also I put a drop refrigerant oil on the ends of the valves (the end that goes inside the unit. Helps the gasket to slip as its tightened rather than distorting it's shape. I wouldn't use regular oil, some gaskets could possibly deteriorate. see if a parts store has a small container of the grease and suitable gasket lubricant. Oh Yeah, position the tool so the extra port on the side is aiming UP some. At first the Schrader valve tried to fall off and go into that spot. It's easy to put the valve in, I think it's tapered so it aims right in to the opening to screw in.

Pulled a system down to 250 micron, this product worked great. Not as slick at top dollar ones, but solid. No leaks at high 400 psi or low vac. An alternative product to this had a leak and didn't grab the core. This one grabs the core. Get this one. Make sure what ever one you try, grabs the core tight.

It worked OK, but did allow leaking under high vacuum conditions.

Does exactly what I needed it to do and came with plenty of cores for replacement. Would recommend for anyone getting in to hvac

It worked good for the first time I used it and then it was leaking the second time which I don’t do Hvac work a lot, but the second time was a year later and I don’t know if it was just the seals started going out, but it was leaking at the valve, especially when I filled up with refrigerant. It was like pouring out the valve and then when I would pull it down to a vacuum every time I turn the valve it would like jump up like there was air getting back into the system like the micro meter would jump up and then I started tightening on it to try to seal it so it wouldn’t leak cause it was leaking at the actual thread to the connection and when I tightened it, it just blew the entire thing off like it broke the ring in there so I probably wasted like a ton of refrigerant and honestly, I think it’s just better just not cheap out on a tool like this especially since you’re dealing with like actual dangerous stuff like if this broke off I think it broke off on the liquid line and that was like really scary

Finish was a little rough. But it worked fine. Perfect DIY tool for replacing old schrader valves w/o loosing pressure. Money well spent.

Purchased this to do i valve change and chose this one because it had an adapter. the adapter did not seal to the main body so i was unable to remove the valve stem.
