My wife and I have used this for over 15 years for back pain and muscular relief. One trick that we find that works very well is: after you rub the jell on your back (make sure you get the Jel solution, not the liquid type) cover your body with a T-Shirt - this helps to hold the jell on the body so it doesn't evaporate so quickly - you can feel the warmth that it gives you.
