Nice heavy duty timer. I was a bit concerned if this could handle my 1.5 hp pool pump. It has been running for a month now with no problems. The only issues I had are the cord is really short so I couldn’t mount the timer like I wanted but I was still able to find a spot to mount and plug it into my GFCI receptacle. Also figuring out which way to pull out the pins to set the time off spots was not clearly explained in the directions. For the run times push the pins in. And of the off times pull the pin out. Having the ability to turn my pump off in 15 minute increments is really nice and I’m hoping a see a difference in the electric bill

Purchase to use on an above ground pool pump. I run the pump 10 hours a day. Everyday at 10am it on and off at 8pm. I have had no issues use it on a 1/2 hp pump.

In cold and sub zero weather we need our skidder to start. Don't want to keep it plugged in all night, so we use this timer. Our Woods timer lasted 10 years, expecting to get that out of this one.

Works perfectly. Installed outdoors off the side of my deck to turn Christmas lights on and off at different times. Can set multiple on/off cycles. It has two outlets with rubber covers if you're not using them. Also has a manual on/off switch (timer bypass) you can use. Glows orange when in use.

I like that it works. The remote is sensitive and it's easy to power on adjacent numbers if you aren't careful. It won't ride in a pocket, and it needs a lanyard attachment. Peel and stick velcro can fix it to a vertical surface as the remote is lightweight. The black color is easy to misplace. I also like the right angle plugs that allow the switch to hug the wall. I use this to operate fans while sanding and other woodworking activity requiring intermittent use. The remote on my other set stopped functioning after about four years.

Given it was a warehouse deal but 2 issues:1. The plastic cover was flimsy and fell off easy. I taped it on.2. Programming easy but it only worked half the time. Several times did not turn on when it was supposed too. This was on day 2. I sent it back and went with another brand I used previously.

It was set to turn on at 3am every day and I thought it was working because the light on my block heater cord is always on when I leave to work at 8am. The other morning I had to get up at 4am and saw that the light wasn't on. I figured out that the timer only turns on at around 530am. I tried re-programming it from scratch and it still doesn't turn on when it's supposed to. I'm not sure if it's defective or if it's because of the cold weather (-20C).

Kept accurate time and worked well as a timer for engine block heater in temperatures that dipped as low as -36 degrees Centigrade for almost 2 weeks.

Timer works extremely well. It states outdoor use. I concur, but not for area with blowing snow or fine dust. It's a superb timer, but be careful of where and how used outdoors. I put mine in a separate plastic container with a good lid...

I like this mechanical timer. It works well, is very easy to set up and and weatherproof. I've been using this unit for several weeks and it has kept time perfectly while surviving periods of heavy rain and then a cold spell of -16.
