I loved the idea of letting kids paint the dinosaurs. It’s now two activities in one! It takes some effort to dig, even after soaking, so I’d say ages 5 and up. It’s a fun to surprise to see which dinosaur comes out and the activity brightened our COVID, homeschool, dinosaur week.I think this set is a good value and would be a great birthday party activity as well with all that’s included as you’d just need more paints and brushes.

These dinosaur eggs make for a great party event or can be placed in goody bags. I also used them for Easter egg hunts and they were durable while I threw them and there was no damage. It was a bit messy though to excavate the dinosaurs within but the kids had fun!

My six year old loved this gift. We do have to leave the egg in the water a little longer than what the instructions say- to dig out the dino. I really like that it came with paper-mats to catch all the debris, but just be aware that you still get some light dust on you. I also really like the my little one can paint them however she wants. I would recommend this to anyone who loves dinosaurs/hands on work- adult or child.

Fun for ages 4-14. Great price when breaking down the cost to about a dollar per egg. I use these for parties or just for boring days when we need to keep the kids busy for a few hours. Love the paint factor it didn't have as much as I think it should so I picked up some extra from dollar store.

These eggs are AWESOME!! It’s a great project to do together with your child I just recommend soaking the egg for a good 10 minutes before you chisel it open! It’s a lot of fun to discover what dinosaur you have and then read about it on the cards that are given about it! Each egg is a different surprise my daughter is obsessed we are on our second batch of dinosaur eggs :-) Even comes with a few disposable very long to put on the table so you virtually have no mess to clean up afterwards… A huge bonus!

This was a great pass time and would be great for a party of 9 year olds. I found removing the clay that forms the egg a bit of a struggle. They were soaked in water to presoften but the plastic picks that are included were not strong enough to remove the clay. Luckily I have worked with pottery and had some tools to help with the clay removal. Another thing was we did receive duplicate dinosaurs. It is messy to work with but it was fun.

Great activity for kiddos! My daughter and nephew (both 4 years) loved this. Kept them occupied for a while, they were super excited to uncover their dinos, painting was total bonus and the cards with facts added to the experience. Pretty messy, but hey they liked that part too!
