Much better than the movable double hand rails!
I am so happy with this purchase! It was for my Mom to help her with getting up and down from the toilet. We had a set of handrails that set over the toilet but were just in the way of everything around it. This thing mounts to the wall behind and to the side of the toilet and has a brace onto the floor for support. It also folds up out of the way so our shower door doesn't hit it when using that. It was the best purchase I made in regards to the toilet usage helper thingy. Now everyone that sees it and has an elderly parent wants to get the same thing. Very well built and heavy duty!

Sturdy, but hard to keep up
When this folds up and out of the way, I have to twist it to the side to keep it from falling down. It’s nice and sturdy, but not quite as easy to push up and out of the way as I expected.

Gave this item 3 stars because wall plate was bent so could not mount flush to wall. Returned and ordered replacement and that one was bent, not as bad as first one, but could not mount flush to wall, too risky to keep. Returned second one too. Otherwise bar looks to be good quality and weight, really liked that. The fold up feature is a bonus to move up out of the way.

Well built
Well built & sturdy. However, would be much better if support rod was adjustable for different heights. Otherwise I would have gave it 5 stars. Update: our contractor put an"extension" on it, now it's perfect! Keep the allen wrench, it does lossen a bit over time. Hubby wanted 1 in front vs 1 on either or both sides.
