THE CHAPTERS SWITCH ORDER TOWARDS THE END OF THE BOOK
This book is the exact same as the US version, with the exception that some of the end-of-chapter problems might vary, and the order of the chapters switch towards the end of the book compared to the US version. If you're buying this for a class, just make sure to pay attention to that detail, and always compare the questions in your book to a classmate with the US version before submitting any homework etc... Otherwise, it's an amazing book for the price.

made math fun
i love this book. it explains things in a very simple, straightforward, yet not watered down way, it has great problems, & the author definitely has a sense of humor!

a hack job compared to the US edition
Do not purchase this "Pearson New International" edition. It's missing critical sections compared to the US edition, such as the proofs of when -1 and 2 are quadratic residues. Even worse, it's sort of duplicitous about the omissions: In the US edition, these results are proven in one chapter, and the next chapter begins by saying, "in the previous chapter we proved [this result]...." In this edition, is SKIPS the chapter containing the proofs, and the next chapter mysteriously starts with, "we find that we can prove [this result]...."This is a hack job. Just compare the indexes to this and the US edition; this one feels like it was put together by school children. Absolutely avoid.(By the way, Silverman's book, when presented in its proper form, is excellent!)

A GYP!!!!!
Based on the recommendations I read on Amazon and the advertisements, I purchased this book, believing at last that I had found a lucid introduction to this subject. BE FOREWARNED, THIS BOOK IS EVERYTHING BUT FRIENDLY!!!!! Most of the problem are considerably beyond the scope of an introduction and no answers are provided and few meaningful clues given. In addition, no answers are provided which only makes matters worse.

Well I found this book great and its reader friendly.Concepts are clearly explained. And it will very useful for the biggnears.Well I deducted one star cause it's printing may be more good as this one.Note: The scratch code is not working which is given in very first page.

Great for beginner to intermediate level
The way the author wrote the book, makes you gripped till the end. Every definition is clearly explained. I bought this book for revision of the basic parts. For a bit advanced readers, go for the book by Burton.

Content is amazing, but the seller is not good, The seller delivered a slightly damaged copy though, the rest of all is amazing, for it, the book is good for introduction in number theory.
