Excellent for the Price
I like these so much I ordered a second one. Good fit. I’m 5’7” and weight 220. I got a large. They are nice and snug and have a nice drawstring. They are thin enough for running and swimming and still easy on the bottom during an 18 mile bike ride. The pockets are a little smaller than I like but you can easily fit an energy gel or two. I have not used these in pools so I can’t vouch for their their longevity in a treated pool. They dry quickly and seem to be well built. I’ve only had mine a few months but so far so good.i might buy another pair next year to replace older Tri shorts I own.

Marvelous tri shorts!
Good value. Nice fit. Endures well for senior water volleyball in chlorinated pool (x3 weekly!). Own 4 pairs. Get some!

Duathlon shorts.
Really good shorts for duathlon. Nice and tight to keep the drag down on the bike and help stabilize the thigh muscles while running. The highly compressed foam pad is perfect for short fast rides on my ISM noseless saddle. I personally would like a thin line of gell gripper at the legs. But so far they don't seem to creep up on the bike which I thought they would. I am 5'9" and I weigh 153- 155 lbs. My waist is 28-29" and the small fits me perfectly but I like my race gear to be pretty tight. I can't stand loose shorts on the bike. I also have some Nashiki shorts I got from Dick's Sporting Goods that have a very thin pad and does have leg grippers. Those you can usually get in there stores up north in the fall for really cheap. So to sum it up, the SLS3 shorts are very well made and very comfortable and perform well on the bike and run. Worth the money.

Great tri short with great padding
I ordered this item a couple of months ago and wanted to give it a couple of wears before reviewing. I have not worn in in a triathlon, as I have a tri kit from a local club made by SLS3, but I have worn it several times swimming, running and biking. This a flat out, a great product. The best feature is the pad that you sit on when riding. It is slightly thicker than most, which gives me more comfort when riding, but it is not notice or when running or swimming. Where most tri shorts seem to have a piece of felt shown into the area between the legs, this short has a thin pad that dries quickly. The remainder of the short is high quality. The seams are in the right places (my tri kit has seams on the back of the leg just above the knee and they leave gashes and scabs after my longer races.). These shorts are also a little shorter than some of my other tri shorts. They come to mid thigh. While I may have considered this too short in the past, I now consider it a perfect length since comfort is most important during races. I will definitely buy these again when my current pair starts to show wear.

Pretty good triathlon shorts
Pretty good triathlon shorts!I got these for my first Olympic distance triathlon and they worked out really well. The padding is light and doesn't feel heavy in the water or clunky during the run while providing enough padding for the bike. The pockets were very useful for holding a couple gels through the whole race including the swim, especially because I didn't wear a cycling jersey with pockets on the back. Overall pretty comfortable and useful.I also appreciate that these shorts have a drawstring for training in the pool while I wait to get jammers. I bought a pair of tri shorts previously that didn't have a drawstring and whenever I would push off the wall of the pool the shorts would act like a parachute and fall down a bit. A little embarrassing! The drawstring on these solves that problem.I haven't used these very much in the pool so I don't know how fast they'll disintegrate, but I'll try and come back and update when I find out. For now I just rinse them off with water to try and prevent the chlorine from ruining them.Overall I would definitely recommend these shorts. Comfortable, practical, and a good price.

Great shorts for all three categories of the Tri
This review is for the SLS3 Men`s Triathlon FRT 2.0 Tri Shorts - 2 pocketsShorts are great. I used them for my first sprint tri full practice (0.35 mi swim, 13 mi bike, 3.5 mi run one after the other). They were just fine for the swim, felt comfortable and didn't notice the pad. They dried quickly from the swim and during the bike ride the pad did it's job and I was not sore at all the next day. Didn't feel the pad during the run until I started thinking about it, but even then it wasn't uncomfortable. I usually wear 32 waist and normally go for mediums, I did the medium size for these and it fits great. I will continue using them for my brick training, just wish they didn't cost so much so I could buy more to wear multiple times a week.Looking forward to using them during my first sprint tri coming up in two weeks. Maybe I'll add an update after that to say how it went during the real thing.

Triathlon shorts
Fit is good, however they are not made for swimming pools they are not supposed to be used in chlorinated water. Most of my swimming is in a pool not a lake. Its too early to tell about durability.

Great training shorts. I already bought multiple pair.
As an All-American Ironman Triathlete. I do a lot of training. So as soon as I tried my pair of shorts on, I went to Amazon and purchased another pair. They feel so smooth and comfortable. I have tons of shirts and jerseys, but not a lot of shorts. A good set of shorts for training makes all the difference. These aren't too long so to bind your legs, they aren't too short to make you feel like you are wearing booty shorts. They are just the right length for me. The pad feels like a little too much right now while running, but they are still new and it will break in to be just right in the end I feel. For biking it feels good. I really prefer a minimal pad to avoid bunching.I haven't tried these in the pool because I already have swimsuits and chlorine kills. I will probably will never use these in a race because I prefer an all in one tri-suit for racing. These are not too tight. If you are looking for $100 compression tights, these are not it, but for training I think these will be great.
