Q: Has anyone used this in a cat litter box? I read that activated carbon will eliminate litter box odor when added to clumping litter.

It probably will work, it has carbon to neutralize odors and a way to trap ammonia (urine has a pretty fair amount of ammonia.) It's certainly not going to hurt to try it, the cat might even enjoy a frangrance free box.

Q: Is this type of carbon better than the regular Diamond Blend Activated Carbon?

The blend of carbon and zeolite (the white stuff) increases the amount of ammonia absorbed and gives you a better range of capacity of a fish tank. It also extends the time between water changes, but I would only use that extra time for times when you can't clean the tank at the normal time. It gives you a safety margin and for that reason alone its worth using. You dont have to use it, but it's a better way to go.

Q: is this more dust, pellet or grain in texture?

Grain it is more ammonia crystals than carbon. If you want a 50/50 mix buy some more carbon.

Q: What are the ingredients, is it just activated carbon and zeolite? Or are there other additives?

Hi Annette,The label doesn't list anything except premium carbon. There is a side label on each side but it is not written in english.
