Looks built in
Fits like it was built in. Love the hidden usb compartment as it makes it easier to not accidentally unplug or have someone else unplug it for you. I needed extra charging ports, and this was perfect

I bought this fie 2018 Model 3
If you own a model 3/Y that is older than 2023 buy this. Gives you so much more usb slot and concealed the usb stick for your sentry/dash cam. It also allow you to organize the wiring better for the air charger.

Should have gotten this sooner!
The Model3 has two USB points under the centre console. These are used up as soon as you get a wireless charger but usually they also provide a USB splitter so that you can plug your memory storage for the Tesla Sentry / Dashcam (must have!). However, doing it this way leaves you with a jumble of cables and a hard drive loose inside that console cavity. When I purchased this, i was just hoping to have a more secure area for the SDD to be stored and not fly around that large hole but upon installation i was even more pleased. The hub itself plugs into the car's two USB slots. It fits perfectly and looks OEM. It's own SDD compartment has a short USB-C cable provided (bonus!!) and even a magnetic steel plate to stick onto your SDD so that it can stay still inside that space. The lid then closes over the SDD storage but if you need a hidey hole for something small (ie. spare house key etc), theres still quite a bit of space in there! You now have a clean open space in front of the hub, there are four frontal USB slots, the wireless charger will plug into the two centre for power, I finally have room to store AND plug my game controller in that centre console which plugs into the left most slot.. and there's still a USB-C empty slot for any other accessory or additional charging that you might want! And best of all, my dashcam and sentry is still working flawlessly with everything hooked up. Great buy for a great price.

Affordable Alternative to Jeda But Could Use a Few Improvements
This is a very cost effective alternative to Jeda's $80 USB Hub that gets the job done. However, it would be better to call this a USB splitter as only two ports (external left most and internal) have data connection. The rest are just for charging. This is shown in the product pictures. The included instructions also state that the car's USB ports are split. The external left two USB-A are shared. The external right two (USB-A and USB-C) and internal USB-A are also shared.Jeda's is a true USB hub in that it has smarter electronics that allow each port to be used for USB devices, not just power. USB hubs are rather low cost, so I think that this could have been possible at the $35 price point. Something like USB 3.0 which allows more than USB 2.0 would have been cheap enough without custom electronics yet provide enough power. USB 3.0 allows 0.9A whereas this is 1.5A using Battery Charging standard. But since the car's USB provides 2.5A per USB port and ports are shared two or three times, 0.9A is safer for multiple devices. As-is, if two devices want to charge they will draw too much and shut off the car USB port.Design-wise, this hub fits very well and I have no fear of it falling out. It matches the color of the plastic around it. It doesn't have the fabric covering but I doubt that is noticeable so deep in the compartment. I would rather not have the ports be labelled (just have a diagram in the instructions) as that detracts from the look but it is in a hard to see place so that doesn't matter. Or perhaps instead of words, use logos to indicate USB data vs power.

So far good product
Was a prefect fit it was super snug getting in but i wouldn't want it to be easier or it wouldn't look as good as it does it looks so much better than oem 10/10 recommend I wi update if something happens it also comes with a magnet for a ssd so it sticks and doesn't move around which wasn't said in the listingVery nice

Works great on friends model 3
I recently purchase this hub for my friends 2020 Tesla model 3 and it works great! It gives it additional usb ports and has a storage area in it. For those who wants to have more than the two standard USB A port, this a good one to try. I really like how you can conceal the memory stick inside the “hidden” storage area. Make sure the model year is correct as they do change from two usb A to a USB A and C after a a certain year and model.

Incompatible with Sentry Mode
It looks fantastic, it installs well, it has plenty of USB ports, and the hidden compartment is great. I want to love it, unfortunately it is incompatible with Sentry Mode.If you have Sentry Mode configured to not record at certain locations (e.g. home, office) to preserve your car battery, then the car powers down. For whatever reason once this occurs then your USB SSD/Thumb drive plugged into this Hub does not mount again when the car powers back up. You have to physically unplug the drive from this Hub and plug it back in before the car will recognize it again and enable Sentry Mode. The day after I installed this thing, we went out to dinner and someone hit our door with theirs and put a huge dent in the door. Sentry Mode was inactive because we'd come from home, and I didn't thing to dig into the dashboard to unplug and replug the drive so we have video. Needless to say I'm pissed off.

Works perfect
Recently bought a Tesla Model 3 and didn't have enough USB ports up front. This fit perfectly and was exactly what I needed.
