So first things first.. this is not a room aor conditioner, anyone expecting this device to magically cool down a room needs to look at a proper air con unit. However where this machine does excel is personal cooling! I was sceptical but willing to give anything a try in the current oppressive UK heat and I'm super surprised. The air coming out is cool if you add chilled and icecubed water, the fan is powerful, and its pretty silent, you can fall asleep with it on let's put it that way. Has worked at my work desk and by my bedside for super hot nights.Only gripe is that the water doesn't last massively long in it,I'm getting about 1.5-2 hours on a nearly full tank, and of course the cooling power reduces as the water goes to room temp,but anyone in need of a temporary personal cooling device should give this a go!

It s quite small, looks nice and is quiet but it broke within the first 2 days of use so i sent it back. Began leaking and stopped turning on. But got a refund, no issues there.

The media could not be loaded.  Worked great. Lovely cool misting effect. Did a great job of cooling my daughters bedroom. I recommended to everyone.Unfortunately the fan suddenly stopped working after less than a week since purchase. Approx 16-20 hours of operation. Naturally it’s died right in the middle of the heat wave.Amazon were great and refunded me - and it’s being returned. Price in last week has gone from £38 to £55 so I think I’ll be trying a different solution than take the risk of another duff unit.So my conclusion - works great but motor is weak point and luck of the draw if you get a good or bad one.

For anyone with doubts about the reliability, ease and level of noise of this fan, I can honestly say, it’s fab.. really sturdy, well made, very quiet and very easy to use. If you don’t want to use it with water, then that’s fine, you don’t have to, and it’s cold enough without it. However I’m currently sat with it on with water and ice, and it’s just bliss.... I’m sat watching a film and you can hardly hear the fan going... just a slight hum and that’s it... I can 100% recommend this fab gadget

Like many I now work from home and during the very warm weather my home office was at times like a sauna - I bought this item and it immediately made working from home more comfortable. My only complaint is the water well dries up really quickly

I highly recommend this fan. Boy did it keep the lounge bearable from that brief but insane heatwave that we had. It is an effective cooler for a smaller room, buy 2 for a bigger room. Fairly quiet, with a hum and water trickle as background noise but I found it soothing. And actually when music or the tv is on, you don't hear it at all.

Product arrived quickly, looks good with the nice colour changing ring around the outside of the fan.You can definitely feel the difference in cooling when water and/or ice is added and the mist function is on. Fan is very quiet IMO but not very powerful although it was ideal for what I wanted it for which was to sit on my desk close to me. Used like this it was really nice and cooling and I was very happy with it. Unfortunately after 1 day of using it, it broke and intermittently would not turn on or off.If the quality was good (perhaps I got a bad one) I would have another one but they are sold out currently.I would not buy this if you are looking for a powerful fan to cool an entire room but it is very good for desktop use or in a very small office/cubicle setting.I have returned the item but am considering buying another one when they are back in stock but am concerned about spending another £50 on a fan that broke so quickly

Small compact fan that emits cooling air when water / ice added. You do have to be quite near it to feel the benefit. It is small and is fine for keeping 1 person cool. Stylish to look at and the subtle lighting adds to the effect of coolness. You have to replenish the water quite frequently
