All I would change is the logo
This fits perfectly, materials almost match perfectly. The only issue is the blinding white JJC logo.

Low profile, works with Fuji lens cover
This was my third attempt on finding the best low profile filter adapter. I can use the filter adapter ring with my stock Fuji lens cover and if I need the lens hood it too works with the stock Fuji lens cover. It's not the most aesthetically pleasing design for a hood but it seems to work well when needed.

Provides necessary protection
The media could not be loaded. Another essential product for X100 owners. It allows the use of filters, reduces flare and allows the use of the lens cap to avoid scratching the filter when carrying in a bag. It is sturdy and well built.

Works very well
This is a perfect fit and I think a better solution than the Fuji hood, the Fuji's bayonette hood locking mechanism is very easy to loosen, there's no locking mechanism. I've also tried the similar Haode hood and I liked it for its slightly more compact form. But the JJC works with the original Fuji lens cap and provides better shade for the lens. My only wish is that the finish would match Fuji's perfectly. The surface texture and color is not exactly the same... A small difference and not an issue for me. This hood is possibly the best option for the X100V.

Casts a shadow when used with built in flash.
The shadow that's cast by this hood when using the built in flash on my Fujifilm X100V is pretty substantial. While the shadow is expected, it's way more obtrusive than expected. Most of the shots with the built in flash are unusable. If you don't use your built in much, then this isn't an issue. Just something to be aware. The machining seems fine and it's a plus that the original Fujifilm lens cap works with this hood. I generally like it. I think some of the square shaped hoods are probably better for my type of camera. But I bought this one and I'm reluctant to spend more on another lens hood.

Meets All Expectations!
Purchased and used the prior version of this lens hood/filter holder for my Fuji X-100F, and knowing how well it performed, bought this new version for my Fuji X-100V. Compact in form, this lens hood/filter holder does not draw undue attention, perfect for discrete street photography.

Would definitely buy it again
I looked at a lot of options for my x100v. This was a great deal, as it comes with both the filter ring and the lens hood. I wasn’t sure I would like this hood vs some of the more stylish square ones. In fact, I love it. It’s an awesome hood and fits the camera well. And, the fuji lens cap fits very securely on it.

Can't use with Fuji adapter + filter
I liked the look JJC Mark V Metal Lens Hood, but returned it because is requires their proprietary adapter ring, which made unusable for me. My X100V is weather sealed with the Fuji adapter plus filter, which will remain on the camera. So any lens hood will need to be usable with this setup.Frankly, I see no need for every manufacturer to deliberately make proprietary add-ons differing from the camera manufacterer's standard setup. It's a Lens Hood, for crying out loud. I just want to put it on the Fuji adapter+filter already on my Fuji camera. It's too bad, because I really liked the hood design.

Exactly what I thought it would be like
Smaller than the round vented hood but wish the adapter portion was shallower as it is still not as pocketable with out the hood. I’m not sure why they are all so deep. I’m almost tempted to have shallower one machined. Even the hood itself can be shallower. Glad it can use the OG aluminum cover - but I just bought a smaller diameter plastic cap for the hole.
