Bought this for our first kid and therefore had no ideas or expectations of what to expect or like in a diaper bag. Overall good bag, holds lots of stuff and is somewhat comfortable to carry (really needs some kind of frame, bag is saggy and slightly uncomfortable when worn if its not mostly full; thus adding structure to the bag). The changing pad that comes with it is really only good for changing your kid on nonporous surfaces. I say this because it has rows of stitching that run across it and if you kid pees while you are changing them, which they will do, and you are say at a friends house on their carpet or couch or where ever it will leak right through the stitching (we replaced it with one with no stitching). Now for why I only gave it 1 star. As a veteran myself its very frustrating to see a "proudly veteran owned and run" business like this not be true to their own country and not be straight forward when asked questions about their product by their customers. I say this because one of the questions someone asked was where the bag was made and the owner basically beat around the bush and never actually answered the question and therefore I will answer it: The bag is made in CHINA!! Now I would have paid an extra $50 more if thats what it cost to buy a bag from them that was made in the USA. Take pride in the country you offered to give your life for and keep your business here!!

I just can't take messenger bags anymore. We've gone through a number of them, with 3 kids, the messenger bag gets very quickly over-stuffed and it's impossible to find anything. I got this bag for our upcoming trip to a major theme park (I'll post an update after we come back). We took a day trip and needed to bring:- food- extra clothes- 16 diapers- wipes- water bottles- other miscellaneous kid junk Normally, we throw a laundry basket of this stuff in the car and just deal with it. I was able to get ALL of it in the backpack easily! You've got a ton of compartments for organization, and a big, open pocket for stuffing things. With all of the above in the bag, it was easy to carry and not over-stuffed at all. I'm very excited to go out with the kids more and more. My wife even likes this bag. The main compartment unzips completely open so you can access everything without having to dig. It's the best money I've spent on a kid bag. ever.[UPDATE]For a family trip (via air), I needed to pack enough stuff to keep three kids entertained, fed and with an extra change of clothes. This, combined with 2 kids in diapers meant packing a ton of stuff.- 16 diapers- 4 apple sauce pouches- 2 boxes rasins- 2 belvita snacks- 2 pb cracker packs- 2 sippy cups- 2 h2o bottles- 1 'activity' blanket- 1 muslin blanket- 3 shirts- 3 pants / skirts- undies / onesie, etc...- 3 sun hats- 4 activity books- 2 books- 1 board bookIt all packed nicely into the bag and fit comfortably on my back without feeling over-stuffed.

This bag is really well organized with lots of space, pockets, and inserts that are easily accessible, it's comfortable to wear and it's really everything I could want for organization and convenience. I also had some communication with the seller and he was very responsive and interested in my comments. The only reason this review isn't 5 stars is because the waterproofing lining is made with PVC, and when I opened my shipment it had an overpowering off-gassing chemical smell. I had bought the bag just as soon as it was restocked, so perhaps it didn't have the same amount of time to air out as the bags might normally. I try to limit PVC/vinyl in my home products--particularly when they are for baby--so I was sensitive to this ubiquitous "new plastic" smell that apparently other bag users hadn't noticed. I actually bought a second bag a little bit later just in case something had spilled on my bag in manufacturing, and the smell was still there but not nearly as bad, and both have aired out pretty well at this point so the smell isn't overpowering. I reached out to the seller about my PVC concern and he was very responsive and did some research with his manufacturer. He said that he had never had this comment before, but looked into it as he promised. Part of his response included: "Kudos to you, because we just received notice from our manufacturer that there is in fact a PVC lining that that coats the inside of the outer polyester. This is what provides the waterproofing for the bag. Now with that said, we actually pay extra costs for special "environmentally and child safe" PVC that conforms to the strictest USA testing criteria per California Standard CA65 which passes all Phthalate testing. Basically, this is the best fabric that our suppliers can get their hands on when it comes to this area." He also said that when this bag comes out with a 2.0 version, they will make it without PVC if possible. This diaper bag is really amazing, and customer service is great. While I wouldn't want PVC in a product directly for baby's use, in my own personal balance of things I think it's worth keeping this bag because it won't go in baby's mouth and any food in the bag will be separately packaged. A lot of folks may not mind the use of PVC, but I know many do, so I wanted to let you all know just in case that's a concern for you.

Love the capacity of this with some thoughtful touches for dad. Wipe pocket is awesome and the insulated bottle pockets are a great touch. My daughter was 10lb+ at birth and find the standard changing mat a bit small for purpose but stick a muslin over the top and it’s fine.

Brilliant bag with decent space in main compartment. We are using this as the hospital go bag so packed and good to go. Plenty of space for lotions, nappys, clothes and a pocket specifically for wipes.

A MUST HAVE! Prior to this my partner had your typical woman’s bag where half the time ya would shuffle around in there or empty the thing out to find what you wanted...... not any more! This bag is brilliant! HUGE, organised and everything you need! Easy capable for 2 baby’s / toddlers! It’s not cheap but you get what you paid for! The compartments open fully for easy access, heaps of pockets to store smaller things and keep separate. Insulated side pockets. Super comfy on your shoulders and extr support around waist if needed 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙 thumbs up from me HSD delivered the goods!
