Total waste of money. I should have taken photos before throwing it in the trash. When I received the item my first thought was it looked dull for stainless steel. There was no shine to it at all. Like with all products that will be used on or with food I washed it before using it, rinsed well and sat it in the drain rack to dry.Several hours later when I went back to put away clean dishes I noticed it looked black. After picking it up my hands were also black. I instinctively just tossed it in the trash and the garbage collectors took it the next day.

It dulled the knife that was super sharp and took off the coating also. Otherwise it did ok.

Large home grown tomatoes will not work with device

The slicing tool I received was not stainless steel but painted gray. It leaves black all over your hands when you pick it up. I do not want to use it with food.

The description said it was stainless steel, but the box said aluminum alloy. I placed it in the top rack of my dishwasher before using and when the cycle was finished, it wasn't even silver of any kind. When I picked it up, there was grey powder all over my hands, the countertop and in my sink. I had to use my dishwasher cleaner to make sure there was no residue in it. I don't know what it's really made of, but even if it were aluminum, this shouldn't have happened. I immediately returned it. Nice idea, but don't buy this. It's another junk product made in China.

This is so much easier to cut lots of veggies with. Love this!!
