On December 12, 2014, at the historic Orpheum Theater in downtown Los Angeles, Melissa Etheridge played the final night of her national This Is M.E. tour. The show featured Melissa and her band in top form, performing new songs from her thirteenth studio album This Is M.E. such as ''Take My Number gods'', and ''A Little Bit of Me gods'', as well as classic hits including ''Come To My Window gods'',, ''I'm The Only One gods'', and ''Like The Way I Do gods'',. This set features two songs which were performed exclusively at this tour stop (''Chrome Plated Heart gods'', and ''Ruins gods'',), and features special guests Delta Rae.

Rocker Chick Extraordinaire!!
Right now I'm so jazzed I feel like dancing all night! I can't imagine how high my adrenaline level could go if I ever saw Melissa perform in person! This DVD with accompanying CD is one of the best music concerts I've ever seen. I have enjoyed ME' s music for years from a distance - making comparisons to the late Janis Joplin - the original rocker chick - minus some of the vocal gravel. Etheridge has demonstrated on this video what's keeping crowds coming back year after year. I agree with another reviewer's statement that "Monster" should have been included on the CD. This set is definitely a good investment for fans and for those who want to rock out in their homes.

Great concert and great video.
I went to this show so I was very interested in seeing the DVD from that night. The DVD is great but I was disappointed that several of my favorite songs had been cut. I pre-ordered it and at that time they did not have a song list online so I didn't get to see what was on it until I watched it. It is nice that they also included the audio version on CD as well as the DVD of the show. Well worth the money.

If you like Melissa Etheridge's music, you should have this one.
Melissa gives a live performance in LA and she is at the top of her game. The music is great. The sound is great. And Melissa is having fun while dazzling the crowd. I have been a fan for many years and this DVD plus CD just makes me want more.

Great DVD/CD Set
I saw Melissa in concert in July. The show was so awesome I decided to buy this DVD based on her "A Little Bit of me Tour." The only thing better than this DVD is seeing her person! The energy & enthusiasm she showed on stage comes through on this DVD recorded in L.A.I highly recommend this DVD for Melissa Etheridge fans. If you get the chance to see her in person, do it! Melissa still rocks it!

... first Melissa album I have purchased and I am glad I did
This is the first Melissa album I have purchased and I am glad I did. I am not a hard rock fan so I choose my rock albums very carefully. This album satisfies the type of rock music I enjoy. Great melodic music. Now that I know what to expect I will follow her music more closely.

Great concert
Great video! Melissa plays her new & old songs. I didn't care for the group she had come out and sing with her backup singers. The one girl was absolutely annoying to me but besides that loved it!

MELISSA ETHERIDGE "ALITTLE BIT OF ME" BLURAY from SHOUT
The BLURAY from SHOUT is superb quality. I listened (and watched) with headphones plugged into the player, and what a sound! Melissa is not a balladeer like KD who I also think is one of the great singers of the last few decades (Argue if you must), and when she sings she puts her soul and heart on the line Out, loud and proud! Because this concert was filmed at a theatre (Orpheum LA), you get a much more intimate connection that can be missing from Stadium concerts. Here I must praise the set designer. No frills or props, just superb lighting. The filming/camerawork is just so right. No fast cuts or flashy angles (look at me, I am a brilliant director!), just great photography of what is a truly great show. What about the show? Without stating perhaps the obvious, it will help your enjoyment if you know and like her songs. There are so many over the past 30 odd years that of course favourites are missing, but...for me, every track is a winner and what a barnstorming climax - MONSTER - lasting 15 mins app. and including duets with all her backing singers, and interplay with her 4 excellent musicians, finishing with a thundering duet...on the drums (Blair Sinta is rock solid, but they all 4 are good). Last - Not only does the lady sing like a good-un, she plays a mean guitar!! I could have done without the interspersed brief interviews but they didn't spoil the flow. Possibly more shots of audience reaction? They did seem, at times a bit subdued, but I am sure they were anything but. Highly recomended to ME fans, but just be aware of what you are getting cos KD she ain't. (Could they ever duet?) Food for thought.

OK,
but what has happened to Melissa's fire. For me this is too bland and dissapointing.

Melissa on song.
Melissa on song. Blu-Ray very well recorded and produced - both sound and vision. Irritated with the unnecessary and distracting 'talkie' breaks between some numbers. A concert should be just that and so a star gets docked.
