Nice cotton caftan
This is definitely a nice cotton caftan. It has good length (I wanted something that was truly full length, not "midi" length" - I am 5'5"), and light enough to be comfortable enough to wear in the summer. I sometimes find the reverse side of the embroidery just a tad itchy against my skin - but that may be just me, and it seems to be getting less so with each washing. I purchased two of these - one in the black and one in the blue, and I am quite happy with them.

Embroidery is not gold
In the photo it looks like metallic gold embroidery, but it's just yellow thread. Disappointed.

Beautiful caftan but way too long
Gorgeous caftan but way too long, and the beautifully embroidered edges make it too difficult to hem. This company has some beautiful product but I will not use them again because they charge a ridiculous restocking fee if you return it right out of the package, before even wearing it. Buying clothes online is always a risk...companies should accomodate customers' needs who are honest shoppers just trying to get the right fit.I'm 5'5", pretty average, and I usually have a problem with caftans being too short, if anything, not way too long...even if I had worn 6" platform shoes this caftan would have been a good 4" still on the floor. Like I said, if it hadn't had the beautifully embroidered edges I would have just hemmed it, but cutting through that gold, heavy cording trim would have caused endless problems.

Absolutely loved it. I also bought the matching shirt for my boyfriend for a themed birthday party. I was afraid my items wouldn’t arrive on time but they rushed my items at no additional charge. We got lots of compliments and fit was perfect.
