Sweet Nothings (The Chosen One)

Nice read. Fantasy with insta-romance and a bevy of cute kids. The MC, Sam is very likable, and the alpha, Vaughn, isn't too tediously alphaish. Extended family is rose-tinted but leavened with a bit of snark. Thankfully the werewolf culture the author gives the pack is of the simpler kind without simpering omegas and hormones all over the place. There's a good mix of all elements. I'll definitely move on to the first in the series (hadn't realised this was a prequel until I finished!)

Very much glad I started with this as the reading order suggested. Great intro to this world with just enough hints as to what's coming to make me eager to start on the one asap.

Sweet Nothings (The Chosen One) by Macy Blake. Sam finds a shivering boy on his door step during a thunder storm. What happens next alters his life completely. Although this book has its nasty side it is actually a lovely relaxing read that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Magical. Fast paced, easy, gripping read. Fantasy, adventure romance with plenty of thrills. Found family and pack coming together. Peak into a new world and enjoy the series that follow. They’re all good. Hard to put down.

I'm really liking this supernatural world from Macy Blake.This is the set up to the universe, so it's not a full length novel but it still manages to pack quite a lot of works building in without becoming overwhelming.I loved both Sam and Vaughan and the kids were absolutely adorable and I really appreciated the set up for each oc the different types of supernatural creatures.

A book that I can live without to be honest.I read it to the end but it just did not tick all the boxes.

Great story and very likeable characters. Another great find thanks to Unlimited. Following this author from now on and making sure to buy all books in the series.
