More comfortable than the original Garmin strap. The strap is a little softer on the skin too. Some reviews have mentioned the HRM pod not fitting or being able to snap the pod into the strap. The pod DOES snap fit but you will need to snap it in at an angle.

I have been wearing chest bands for 9yrs now and they have always been the Garmin Heart Rate bands and I have replaced them numerous times.I have ran Spartan races, Savage Races, Tough Mudder, and even do the HH100 bicycle race every year and they would eventually all roll up and bunch up and get uncomfortable like a this string around me instead of a band, but I stuck with them due to the fact I only wear the Garmin Fenix watches. Well HOLY GUNSMOKE there is a new Sheriff in town and this chest band rocks. It works perfectly with the Garmin Heart rate sensor and is extremely accurate. I can't get it to lose its form not matter what I do.I even did a Spartan race with no shirt just to see if I could trash this and get it to roll over on itself in the mud and water and climbing which had no effect on it.It was really nice to not feel the chest band.The price is awesome compared to the Garmin replacement band. Sorry Garmin. I will stay faithful to your watch but your Heart Rate chest band is a distant memory.

I've already ordered 3 of these because I use them so much. I got them to replace my Wahoo Tickr X strap which is absolutely atrocious. The Tickr strap does not last at all and if you wash it a couple of times (gently) it still falls apart. These straps are great because they can be washed for months and keep working fine.The only problem I've seen is that sometimes they use a snap that is way too tight. This forces you to press on them very hard, and once you get them to snap on, THE SNAP WILL NOT HOLD. I had to return one strap because of this problem and I got another replacement strap that almost had the same problem. I was able to salvage it by snapping the Tickr monitor a few times before a run, forcing the snap to adapt.So the strap is great and lasts a long time, so long as you don't get those snaps that are too tight.

I purchased this strap to replace the strap on my Wahoo Tickr HRM, and it's been great so far. I thought I would have to replace the whole Tickr as it was not reading correctly, but replacing the strap solved the problem!

DO NOT BUY if you have a Wahoo Heart Rate Monitor. Does not stay snapped to strap. Sadly I didn't try using it right away and I missed the return window. In the past I have always bought name brand (WAHOO) replacement straps which last about a year. Anyway.... Don't waste your money.

The bottom line is that this is an excellent replacement. It actually fit better than the original strap that came with the HRM. It also fits my old Garmin snugly also, yeah when Garmin was not about all proprietary throw-away business model. For the price of less than $15, I think it is a good deal to extend the lifespan of the HRM devices.My massive canine friend (weighs 10 and a half pounds and stands 9 and a quarter inches tall) is a strength testing machine. One day he decided to test his dental crushing and shearing strength on my Powerlabs HRM. Luckily, his huge 5-mm long teeth did not damage the monitor itself, but ensured that the strap lay astray in morbid pieces as the electrode innards were exposed.I searched on amazon using "HRM band replacement" and it gave results for other generic bands. Just when I was going to pull the trigger on one of them, "More items to explore" showed this band, which was cheaper. Sometime I wonder if the Search AI really thinks and recommends the right thing, based on our "purchase history", but I digress.I would definitely purchase it again and ensure to keep it away from the gigantic strength testing machine I have inherited.

Works well with Orange Theory chest heart rate monitor. I have had mine for over a month with no problem.
