Second favorite one in the series
5 starsThis one really took a different turn than I was expecting with their long distance relationship. I thought for sure we would get the HEA I was hoping for since book 1 but nooooo, LTM had to leave me in suspense again! I mean, yeah, they are together but they have to go to seperate colleges hundreds of miles away from each other. And their relationship is really in the beginning stages still!Ok, I’m not really complaining. This book is my second favorite in the series because we finally see the love blossom for Anna and Julian. Although I have to say that for someone who claims such strong feelings for Anna, he didn’t seem like he was too broken up about the long distance as she was. I know he’s got a lot going on with his new family but come on! You pursued her through two books, now that you have her you are like “calm down, we’ll see each other when we see each other.”Or maybe Anna is just so in love with him it seems she physically can’t live without him. I think this really touches on how difficult long distance relationships can really be. I don’t know how well I would have taken it to be away from the one I loved and just found for a whole four years. That’s a long time to miss. People drift away and embark on a new adventures and experiences, sometimes leaving each other behind. You have ot be one strong person to do that I think. That’s really all I can say about his book without spoiling it. Go read the series!

A strong love
This is the third book in the Dragonfly series, it continues on with Julian and Anna’s relationship. Anna is struggling with the huge secret that she has held from Julian. She desperately wants to tell him who is father is, but she told him that she wouldn't. This is the senior year for both her and Julian. They want to make it perfect and be together all the time.Anna starts to think about Jack a little more, starts to dream about him. Then there is a run in with Jack at a basketball game. Anna doesn't know what she wants right now. I feel that she is confused. She wants to be with Julian, in every way that she possibly can, but her thoughts are with Jack at times. Anna and Julian have some troubles that they have to overcome. Can their relationship last through it all?I love the series, I couldn't wait until this book was released. But I feel that Anna is still holding on to the feelings that she has for Jack. For the short time that her and Jack were together, she harbors feelings for him that she can’t explain. Then there is Julian. They have been friends for a long time. Their relationship takes a new turn in this book, for the good? I don’t know. They are constantly doubting, and wondering. There is something there that they both can’t put their fingers on. They love each other this is true, but I feel that their love for each other is a product of what Anna has read in the journals that Bill gave her to read.Pick up this book now!!! It is a great book! I can’t wait for the story to continue in the next book!!

Enthralling
The final book in this series, Mosaic, was just released, and now I’m scrambling to catch up. The whole series has been so solid, and its conclusion is bittersweet. I’ll definitely miss these characters. On the other hand, the tension has been building for so long now, I feel like they deserve a happy ending. It will be happy, right? RIGHT?!I’m not so sure about never-ending happiness after reading this third installment. It felt more like someone had lit a fuse and I’m just waiting for an explosion. I have followed Anna through her rocky relationship with Jack, through her eye-opening dip into the past, and now through her relationship with Julian. Their bond feels so tenuous at times. Renee seems to constantly be waiting to pounce, and I know that Jack isn’t completely finished with Anna yet. I’m a little terrified about what mischief he has up his sleeve. What I love about Leigh’s writing is that it’s crisp and clean. It isn’t overly embellished or flowery. It’s concise, and while the pace of the story isn’t what you could call thrilling, it is enthralling. I find I can easily disappear for a few hours and step into another world, another life. I’m not usually a huge Romance (with a capital R) fan, but this series has kept me hanging on right to the end. Now, you’ll have to excuse me as I will be diving straight into Mosaic now. ;)

Back to Anna and Julian!
I was definitely more happy with Watercolor, than I was with Undertow. I wanted to get back to Anna and Juilan's story, and that's what we got here. They are such a cute, young couple. I enjoyed reading about their relationship, the ups and the downs. Anna is holding on to so many secrets, that I was surprised she didn't crack. That's a lot of pressure for a teenager, and I thought Alex and Bill were horrible to put her in that position. Julian's mom was so stubborn and adamant about not telling him, that I wanted to slap her across the face. I was so relieved when everything was finally out in the open. This book is filled with all kinds of teenage angst and young love. It was a fun read. All I want to warn you about is DO NOT read the sneak peek for the next book in this series, Mosaic. I read it, and I wish I hadn't. It was a complete buzz-kill. I know that I will read the 4th book in this series, because I can't not read it. But, I'm seriously bummed about what that sneak peak gave away. Completely sad and a little heartbroken, if I'm being honest here.

Great but short.
This book in the series was better than book 2 for me. I felt like I reconnected with Anna and Julian better in this book than the last book. I am enjoying their love story. I am anxious to see how their love matures and how the rest of the clan handles the revealing of the big secret that the readers have known about for awhile now. My only complaint was that the book read too fast for me. It left me wanting more of their story. I finished it in less than 24 hours. I actually have so far read the first 3 books in 2 days. They are the perfect length for teens. I would prefer longer books, especially when I love the characters and plot so much.

Omg
I really loved this book and the unfolding story. I'm a little bit anxious to read the next one after the sneak peak, will history really repeat itself. To say I'm hooked on this story is an understatement xx

Watercolour by Leigh Talbert Moore
I am loving this series. I love how little bits of information come out every now and then. Glad Julian knows the truth. What will happen next??
