I buy these for all my cameras, installing them pretty much the moment I take the camera out of the box. For just a couple dollars, I figure it's just generally good insurance against accidents. They're easy to apply and generally fit pretty well. And I can attest that they actually DO work! My brand new X100VI took a tumble, falling out of my car when parked on a steep slope in Yellowstone. The camera hit the rocky ground fairly hard, too. The screen protector took the hit and shattered into several very large cracks. Nevertheless, it still held together and stayed put on the screen for the duration of my two week trip. When I returned from my trip, I pulled the broken protector off (and it still held together during removal, despite having full-length cracks across it) and replaced it with one of the extras from the three-pack. The screen under the protector was completely unharmed! These screen protectors do their job well and this one saved my screen from serious (and expensive) damage. Definitely recommend. I will continue to put these on every camera I own and suggest that others do the same!

Seems to do the trick on my X100VI. Lost one star for poor instructions. Came with a couple "guide stickers" that I couldn't figure out how to use, and that weren't covered in the instructions. I tried my shaky 72-year-old best, but my install is ever so slightly crooked, maybe a 1/64" overhang at one bottom corner. Hopefully not enough to snag or matter.

I am a big fan of glass lcd protectors and use them on my phones and cameras. They seem to hold up better than plastic ones, and I seem to have better luck installing them without dust or bubbles. I installed this protector on 2 cameras... X100v and Panasonic GX85. Here is the technique I used : 1) Clean lcd with eyeglass cleaner and clean microfiber cloth to get off major dirt 2) Use the enclosed wet and dry wipes to clean screen again. 3) Use 3m Scotch Magic tape to clean the lcd again... i use a long strip and go over the entire lcd 4) Clean the back removable sticker! It is going to touch the lcd, so get the dust off before installing. 5) Position the protector using the 2 strips along a single long edge of the lcd. This is the most important step to get a good positioning. Make sure the stickers are adhered well to avoid movement 6) Lift the protector by the edge using the stickers as a hinge. I used a rocket blower one more time to blow out any dust that may have gotten in. 7) Start peeling back the protective layer using the black sticker attached to it. 8) slowly lower it on to the lcd, holding the edges. make sure top edge is aligned best you can 9) peel off sticker completely, and allow it to set onto the lcd like a hinged door closing. I watched the protector "adhere" to the glass, from top to bottom, and there were zero bubbles evident... didn't have to wait for them to disappear. This protector has no rainbow effect, and the touch functionality on both cameras works without any changes. It does not appear to affect the image quality in any way. I don't really care how scratch resistant this protector is, as long as it takes the damage instead of the lcd. It's also nice that they give you 3 protectors, so if you mess up really badly, you can give it a 2nd or 3rd try to get it perfect. I am giving this 3 stars for "easy to install", since a lot of it comes down to luck, and how many protectors you have installed in the past.

This was probably the easiest screen protector I have ever fitted. Went on first time with no bits of dust or bubbles. You can hardly tell it is there. It seems to be fine with the touch screen, however, I hardly ever use the touch functions of the X100VI. All in all very good value.
